I've been wanting to make my own maps for a while now, but all I see are mostly gameplay mods but no map mods. Are there any ways to make your own map?

Well, I pretty sure the reason why the modder stopped and removed the files was because he was getting burned out. Also, from reading past topics, (to paraphrase) people who worked with him mentioned that he was attempting things with no real clear aim or ultimate goal. I have War in Skyrim 2 and stopped downloading after that though so I can't comment on the NPC issues. -

Does anyone else find it jarring to hear the default follower voice when talking to Ceri and then hearing the custom VA when listening to her custom dialogue?? -
It's been almost 4, maybe 5 months since I last played skyrim but I was wondering, is it possible to replace an entire race's facial (and/or body) features with a different race's features? If so, how? Edit: To add a bit more clarity: I want be able to replace all of the breton's facial features on the character creation screen with a nord's facial features. Is that possible?

The naming conventions for the kits are confusing and the CK wiki doesn't have any sort of help for building a castle interior. As far as I know, the castle is unlike the dungeon kits where you have pre-assembled blocks of the environment. Rather, they just give you actual pieces IE: a wall, a pillar, floor with a roof square, etc. Building a castle is important at least for the quest area I'm trying to make.

I tried experimenting around with the camera console commands and now my camera is no longer responsive. I tried the tfc command and zoomed far out, then I entered tfc again to reset the camera. Now I can't zoom in or out via mousewheel and I can't switch to first person mode. Can anyone help?

I'm modifying my destruction magic so that it will scale with skill level instead of by perks. My biggest problem is that the bonuses from Augmented Flames/Frost/Shock bonuses are multiplicative of the additional bonuses instead of being additive. I'm currently using the (1+ Actor Value * x.xx) modifier. If someone doesn't get it, let me explain: The current multiplicative formula I'm seeing with the scaling mod (using fire bolt as an example): Multiplicative formula: Resulting damage = (scaling modifier * augmented modifier) * base magnitude Fire bolt base damage (magnitude): 25 Fire bolt with no destruction scaling and maxed augmented flames: 37 = 1.5 * 25 Fire bolt with maxed destruction scaling and augmented flames: 56.25 = (1.5 * 1.5) * 25 -> This is a 225% total magnitude increase, I only want 200% total I was hoping to make the last part of the above example formula as additive, in other words: Additive formula: Resulting damage = (scaling modifier + augmented modifier) * base magnitude Fire bolt with maxed destruction scaling and augmented flames: 50 = (1.5 + .5) * 25 -> This is the ideal magnitude for me. I know there's an other formula which leads to the same end result as the first example (the multiplicative formula) and that is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want my damage bonuses to scale beyond 200% (2x) of the base magnitude of a spell. Can anyone help? Watching as my questions go on without a single response gets old really fast. Edit: I found out that modifying the numbers so the multiplier to be .00335 to work well on paper, but in game, the numbers seem to triple with Augmented Flames modifier. Still have no idea what to do.

I added an additional effect to rune master so that it allows the player to place one additional rune (for a max of 2). I tested this out in game and suddenly I can place an unlimited amount of runes. Does anyone know what went wrong?

I was wondering, how do I prevent armor enchantment stacking? Being able to have spell cost reduction stack on every piece of armor basically means I can stack them to reach 100% but this ruins my experiences while playing. Is it possible to have only the strongest enchantment active instead of stacking enchantments? Edit: Also, how do I add a cap to how strong an enchantment can reach?

The power attack animation with dual daggers looks a strikes me as someshing that just looks wrong. Can someone replace it with the animation of the dual wield sword power attack?

This sounds like something is up with the magic effect itself. If you are using Skyedit, you can make quick edits to the items themselves and can view the magic effects too. That can help you out with the spell graphics by selecting which one. I'm not sure on the CK though, since the CK loads really slowly on my comp.

Merchants still carry items even after deleting them from lists

Figures, but what about preventing items in the world from scaling with level? IE: There are arrows in the Solitude Fletcher that slowly scale from Iiron into Daedric arrows. There was also an axe there that did that too iirc. -
I tried making my own mod to remove a whole bunch of items from merchants (mostly dwarven and elven items) but they still appear in the world they still appear in a merchant's inventory. 1. What do I have to do to remove them (said items) completely? 2. Is it possible to make them a rare appearance in said inventories; if so, how? 3. Is it possible to remove ebony, daedric, and dragon bone/scale items away from enemy bodies as well; if so, how?

In my opinion, 81 seems to be an odd level cap so I was wondering if it was possible to redux the cap to 80 instead. However, because the max cap was reduced to 80, I'd have to add a perk and attribute increase for level 1. Once the player's hands are freed, the player should be free to upgrade their perks/attributes. Does anyone know how?

I'm just really tired of seeing ebony, daedric, and dragon items in random chests and in stores late in the game. I'm also very tired of seeing high level potions (tier 3+) randomly throughout the world as I explore. I mean, what's the point of buying potions if you can find them when you are traveling and fighting monsters? Because of that, can anyone remove all the tier 3+ potions, ebony, daedric, and dragon items from common chests from the world (not merchants) and normal enemies? I would have done it myself but I don't know how to edit leveled lists. Besides, this will actually give a use for gold, won't it?

I'm planning on creating a mod that expands the female character creator so that you can have any facial options from humanoid females IE: Redguard noses on Bretons, Imperial eyes on Bosmer, Nord lips on Altmers, etc. However, I have a very vague idea on where to start. I've extracted all the character assets via BSA browser, and removed all traces of beast races and male files. However, I'm stuck since I have no idea what to do next. Do I rename the files so that they can be added into the character creator (similar to other hairstyle mods that add on instead of replace)?

There are rips of the armor models from DA2 but no rips for hair. Too bad there's no mod to add default fem hawke's hairstyle :(

I'm going to be incredibly blunt here: My laptop can't handle skyrim with high textures and shadows. Since all shadows come out as blocks I began to wonder, why not turn off the shadows? Heck, if Borderlands and other games allow shadows to be turned off, why not mod it into skyrim?

I want to test out a few mods for personal use but I need to make them compatible with skyrim first. How do I convert .msh files into .nif?

I find it a little annoying that every time I reach 20/24 and up, I have to resort to a guide or list. Could someone alter the quest so that the questline arrows actually show all 24 locations?

I made a mod that causes the Psijic robes to have the same enchantment as the archmage's robes (I don't want a replacer since I downloaded a nocturnal replacer). However, it seems that the mod isn't loading properly IE: I have the robes equipped, but no enchantment effect in my active effects window. I have to re-equip the robes on my character to get it working. Is there something that I did wrong?

Normally, when I mod, I tend to just adjust stats and switch around names, however, I'm getting a bit tired of it. I want to create my own hairstyles based on several videogame I've played before. What programs should I download and learn how to use? Please note, the only programs I know about are 3ds max (taking a beginner's course in it at college this January), and blender. Are there any other programs or plugins I should know about? Are there any good tutorials to teach me the basic tools (and maybe an advanced technique or two)?
