  1. I have the Lakeview house and bought the bedroom addon but the 2 adopted kids insist on sleeping in the crappy straw beds upstairs. The two childrens beds in the bedroom are owned, but I don't know to who as nobody tries to sleep in them ever. I tried deleting the upstairs beds and it just means now the kids wouldn't sleep then either. My follower just walks around all night, ditto my steward. I don't have a wife yet so I don't know what she's gonna do.
  2. Yeah I was reading that. Looks pretty good, I look forward to it.
  3. Damn, that's almost exactly what I wanted (they don't charge money though, however I can just reverse pickpocket some and pretend they did) Problem is sometimes they either don't return the item and it just disappears into hammer space, or they return an unmodified item, or most likely it just crashes to desktop :( I really appreciate you showing me this link though, will try it again later on a mod free install and see if I get better results and if so hopefully figure out how to fix it
  4. I've installed a bunch of mods using the Nexus Mod Manager and game loaded fine up until I installed Lootification and now it crashes to desktop I uninstall it and game works fine again However, according to Lootifications mod page I gotta do something with tes5edit (downloaded) i've tried googling and searching youtube but I can't find answers. I've downloaded tes5edit but I can't see what it does or how to get it to make changes. I thought it would merge mods or something I'm just trying to make it so immersive armors/weapons have randomly enchanted items
  5. Say a Stormcloak and Imperial soldier fight. One dies. The other loots all his gear or bandits kill an NPC, they take all their loot atm its odd that someone will kill a bunch of people and then never take anything unless they're upgrading their weapon mid fight
  6. No. Know how when you're sneaking and someone's looking for you there are red dots representing the enemies on the compass? I want them red dots to be there when YOU detect people or when they make enough noise. It's just kinda stupid that you can only detect enemies on the compass when they're looking for you
  7. Just seems kinda odd I can be looking right at an enemy but can't detect it till it knows I'm there
  8. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that mod does a lot of things as well as the enchanting vendors thing and would conflict with a bunch of other mods I have. I appreciate your assistance nonetheless
  9. Looking for a mod that allows NPC's to enchant your gear in exchange for a fee +mats Kinda breaks my immersion when I can do everything and do it better than everyone in the country, so I like to RP as people who don't have a stupid amount of skills. Just a small amount they use to get the job done.
  10. I was thinking how it would be if Alchemy was real, and really you wouldn't have to experiment for this. People would know and there would be books and people who could teach you for a price. I was thinking maybe you could talk to alchemy vendor and pay a fee and learn all the effects of a specific ingredient, or you could attend a class and learn X effects from random ingredients or perhaps even diff levels. Intro to alchemy could teach you the effects of the most common ingredients, then advanced, then master then artisan or something. All with scaling costs. Cause I doubt an apothacary would sell you something like butterfly wings and not know what you can use them for. This would also give something else to spend gold on
  11. Would it be terribly difficult to make items like lamps and electric lights destroyable. Some places are very dark and great for sneaking and then you have this HUGE glaring light you gotta sneak past. everyone looking that direction instantly see's you even at 100 sneak Being able to strategically shoot out lights would allow us to play to our strengths, avoid fights if wanted. I'm fine with the bullet/breaking glass sound attracting enemies or having them come to investigate what happened to the light so long as i'm now in the darkness
  12. If you've ever played Metal Gear Solid 3 than you will remember the camo index. Was a percentage that showed you how easy you were to see. I've noticed in Fallout it's not always obvious when you're standing in a much lighter area than you thought and enemies will see you sneaking from across the room, and other times you will be standing in a room that seems reasonably well lit but enemies will pass within inches of you looking for where the shot came from
  13. There are a lot of potential homes in this game that are completely ruined because the bed stays red despite the owner being dead (that was unintentional :P) For example, silvers house. It's not ideal but it could make for a good early game player house with a bed if you could sleep in her bed once she fell on a bullet. Playing as an evil player you have to kind of rough in wherever till you can get to Tenpenny towers, whereas I would rather just take a house and make it my own. Also, it's kinda stupid that taking stuff from a dead persons house is stealing. Sure, I guess it technically is but the original crime is so great it makes the petty crime of taking there fancy lad snack cakes a non issue. Even IRL if you broke into someones house, murdered them and then raided the fridge nobody would care one iota that you ate all their food, the important issue would be the major thing you did. So yeah, any mods out there that change this? Closest I found while searching was a mod that lets you sleep anywhere but I don't want to sleep in ACTUAL owned beds
  14. Cheers for the reply. If you get your mod finished I look forward to trying it out
