There appears to be some sort of mechanism in place for this already, because whatever base clothing item Piper is wearing at any point does not show up in her inventory unless you ask her to equip something else. I'm wondering if this could be leveraged. I have no idea how it works, though; it might not be possible to extend that to other equipables yet. I'd also like to be able to lock not equipable items, though. I make sure that Dogmeat always has a teddy bear. If you don't know why, then I insist that you give him a teddy bear.
  2. Me, too. Sure, for most things you can rename them at workbenches to include a symbol or formatting (via <u>, <i>, <b>) in their name, but for some items, once you do that you lose a significant number of name characters, and have to come up with something new and shorter to call it.
  3. User phrophet has uploaded a readme with the console instructions to gain two followers at once: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1804/? It's really simple if you already have a non-dogmeat follower. Go into console (~) and enter prid 0001d162 to select Dogmeat. If he's far away, you could optionally follow up with the command 'moveto player' so he won't have to run across the wasteland to find you. Next enter setconsolescopequest followers to mess with the followers. To make Dogmeat join back up with you, enter forcerefintoalias dogmeatcompanion Then, finally, to get the command dialog, (move commands, access his inventory, etc.) and avoid selecting him in VATS, enter setplayerteammate 1 Again, all credit for finding these commands goes to phrophet.
