Bethesda have said that they are allowing (eventually) personal servers, which is basically single player if you don't allow other players. -
Does any modder know whether it's possible to change the way Fallout 76 locks out the Keyboard while using a controller. Basically, I loved the way Fallout 4 used the D-Pad for favourite items/weapons/chems/etc, but in 76 it uses UP and then a wheel. Totally impractical when been attacked.

Any ideas yet. Just re-installed after a few weeks and just running 'Vanilla' Fallout 4 and no controller. Have over 1100hrs mostly with controller.

Has anyone considered making a Wood Mill like the one in Skyrim. Not for actually using but for immersion purposes. I mean, all those threes used to make fences and nothing to create planks, etc.

Think I may have sorted it. There is/was a folder in my Documents\MY GAMES\Fallout4 folder called backupcfgs.... In there was a copy of the Fallout4Custom.ini file. I just copy/pasted it into the Fallout4 directory as no more missing INI warning....

Can anyone help. Just recently, I did my usual backing up of my Fallout 4 ini files, (basically just copied the file to a different location). But since doing that, I keep getting a message everytime I start NMM stating; ---- You have no Fallout 4 INI file. Please run Fallout 4 to initialize the file before installing any mods or turning on Archive Invalidation. ---- I click on OK and can launch Fallout 4 with the Launch F4SE and the game runs fine. Any idea what could be causing this. Thanks in advance. Vipa

Lonesome Road (Ed-E not following from start)

Just realised, which may be of help, if I set Ed-E to follow, he doesn't move and when I interact with the two consoles, it doesn't give me an option to have Ed-E look at them, but if I set Ed-E to WAIT, he still does nothing, but the consoles have the Ed-E option available. Weired... Also, I've just done the verify cache integrity thing in steam. Quickly mentioned 2 files needed repairing and had done it before I got a real chance to see what files... -
I've just started playing FONV again and have installed the DLC packs this time. I've been playing for quite a few hours now and have reached level 20, so decided to head down the Lonesome Road. I ended my relationships with both Veronica, (having completed Cassidy's quests), and also finished with Willow, (first time playing with her and she's great). Now, when I enter the Lonesome Road and enter the bunker, I unlock the door and re-activate Ed-E, but he doesn't do anything. He doesn't follow me into the other chamber or interact with the consoles when instructed. Can anyone tell me if I'm doing anything wrong or missing anything? I've tried it with and without my MODs, which aren't that extensive to be honest. I can interact with him and get him to beep and squeek and follow/wait, but he doesn't move or anything. I'm hoping, really, really hoping I don't have to re-install anything and it a simple oversight on my side. Please can anyone help. Thanks in advance....

Thanks JEO, it has definately solved the locking issue on exit. But the crashing still occurs, usually when I fast travel or travel through doors to other areas. Has anyone any other ideas. See Original Post as I have removed some of my installed MODS. Perhaps a re-install may be in order after I save a copy of my game files. Any advice on how to do that without messing the new .ini's would be helpful. I know where the files are stored and do I only need to back-up the SAVES directory within users/blah/blah/blah/FalloutNV

Please can anyone help. This is my first time here. I've been a member of the Nexus for a while, but didn't realise the forum existed, just used the various download areas, (Fallout3, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim). My problem is that I've been installing Mods and also tweaking the .ini files, (mostly checking for conflicts inbetween), and all was well, until recently. Now the game crashes occasionally whilst playing, (Exit to Desktop), and when actually exiting the game, either properly of with consol qqq, it just lockups and I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL. Attached are my .ini files, that may hold the key as I've been browsing the Web looking for tips on how to improve the smoothness of the game. Again, I've tried re-setting them all and the game wouldn't load, (because of the uGrids=7 issue). I did resolve that and changed back to uGrids=5 using tips on Nexus and using the NV_Configation utility, (wish I'd seen that earlier).
