a bit confusing but i think i might be getting it.. what my plan was, was to extract the 3d file from the mod that someone on the form already created, then modify the mesh so it's tighter around the character's head and reshape it (possibly by exporting a 3d model of my player/character from oblivion to model it around his head so it fits properly since only he will be wearing it) and then reimport it back into the game. it's just that im not sure on how to attach it to the bones. is that done in nifscope? im not sure if the tutorial you linked covered how to do that. i didnt watch the whole video, but from what i seen it only seems to be modifying plain objects and not objects that the characters wear.

I was actually planning on editing the mod someone else made for me in Oblivion. the download link to it is right here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/11036753-can-someone-please-mod-this-mesh-in-as-a-custom-helmet-or-hat-into-elder-scrolls-oblivion/ it's just the bottom/base part of the hat i wanted to make tighter so it fits around my character's head more really. I imagine it shouldnt be too difficult to edit the 3d mesh file of the mod

that hat actually IS created by me. I modded it into the other games myself & I was trying to figure out how to put it into oblivion. It Definately was not made by any game company... it's my trademark that I wear in all of my selfies & youtube videos: https://joewinkothehorrormoviedirector.tumblr.com/post/190761829015/pictures-of-joe-winko had to clarify that... I'll try following the tutorials soon. someone actually already had imported it into Oblivion but I'm trying to figure out how to modify it so it's tighter around my head to resemble the real life version of it. i'll try following the tutorials you gave me... i'll post here if I have any questions...

UPDATE: I'm having a problem with the mod... im not sure if im installing it right but here's a video of what's going on: the instructions say: In game open the console, and type 'player.additem XX000ed31 1' where XX = the plugins place in you load order. it's the second on the list in mod manager, so am i supposed to type player.additem 02000ed31 1? or am i doing it incorrectly?

I been trying to figure out how to do this for years. I been trying to mod in this hat I created into elder scrolls morrowind (and also oblivion & skyrim) but i havent been able to find a good tutorial for how to do that anywhere. Here's how it's supposed to fit. on a character's head (i was planning on using it on a high elf) Could someone please mod it into the game for me? I been trying to figure out how to do it myself but i couldnt find a tutorial to. Or tell me how i could do it myself possibly? (i might need to see pictures of what i'd have to do) the 3d mesh is in an obj format. the texture is included too.

I been trying to figure this out for years. Here's a couple pictures of a custom helmet I been wanting to make for Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I was able to mod it into other games like Sims and Kenshi and even GTA ^that is how it's supposed to fit on the character & here's a picture of the mesh file it's self. I been trying to mod it into Elder Scrolls Oblivion so my character in the game can wear it. But I can't figure out how to do that. I been trying to find a good tutorial for that, but all the tutorials I managed to find either don't have pictures, are really old/out-dated, or aren't really clear enough. I'm asking if anyone can make a video tutorial showing exactly how they would mod a custom helmet into elder scrolls oblivion. or a picture tutorial, so i can learn how to do it myself. you could film it with this: https://obsproject.com/ A video tutorial would be the easiest option because i could see how to do everything. I already know how to make a 3d mesh/mdel but i just don't know how to attach it to the players head in the game & how to make it spawn in the game either. Can someone please help teach me how to do that? It shouldn't be too difficult because I did that before with the sims 2 & kenshi. (this is how i learned it for the sims 2: )(this is how I learned it for Kenshi: https://steamcommunity.com/app/233860/discussions/3/1699415798755910859/ ) ^If only I could find a tutorial like that for modding helmets into oblivion.... But i also wanted to mod it into skyrim and morrowind too, but we can focus on oblvion for now. Can someone please make a video or picture tutorial on how to do that please?

Oblivion Ghostface mod? (scream)
joeisawesome4life replied to joeisawesome4life's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
i don't think this is possible -
Hey everyone! I have an idea for a mod in elder scrolls oblivion. I'm currently writing the script for a machinima movie i'm making (it's fan made) and it's about 2 boys who travel back in time to save there grandfather from getting killed by ghostface. (ghostface is the character from the scream films) i was planning to make it with elder scrolls oblivion. So, basically what i'm asking for is a mod that makes the main character in the game look like ghostface. Ghostface wears a black hooded cloak (exactly like the one Lucien lachance wears from the dark brother hood) and he has a face like this: (it's really a mask but this is what it looks like) http://i895.photobucket.com/albums/ac153/shawnmichaels91597/scream.jpg If anyone could make this it would be awesome :) and i would defiantly credit you in my movie :)
