You're confusing "refuse to fix" with "isn't worth the money required to fix". It's an important difference. Tooneyman is correct!! Stop defending a multi-billion dollar Co. for being irresponsible and releasing an inferior product. We pay good money for these games, knowing that good people will fix their sloppy work. How about finding Wrye?

From what I can gather, apparently the latest update has broken NMM. There's apparently a work around where you put star in front of everything, but that's not really working for me. Though it did work for someone else. Link below if you want to try it out: Mods Not Working This also happens when using Wrye Flash v 307.09 as a mod installer

In response to post #36963370. #36980130 is also a reply to the same post. Wrye Flash users....If you make the "plugins text" read only, Wrye will crash on start up.

It would be nice to see some cases where you coud put one of evrey type of butterfly and dragonfly that could be found in Tamriel, and be able to keep them in the players home. Maybe a system of collectors through out Tamriel that you could trade or sell collections or pieces of collections.

Well I see no one has responded. If it makes you feel any better, It just started happening with me also. No reason, it worked one minute and when I went to launch the game a few minutes later the same thing is happening just like you described.

Hey All! The screen goes black and fades in slow when I draw and reload my weapon. I remember reading something about this in a readme but can't remember which mod. Can anyone help?

Both my character and doc Mitchell are in sneak mode. When I press the command to sneak the camera moves down but my character does not react. Any ideas which mod might be causing this?

Hey all!:woot: I'm a Elderscrolls fan but decided to try something different. Any advice or tips for my first time through? which mods to try now and which should wait till later? :yes:

I noticed since the last Steam update a lot of people have been posting "sudden" game problems that have resulted in weired graphics, game Freezing and of course the usual CTDs. My own experience was that a game that was running very well one day, without changing anything except for the steam update, The game would not even start it would stop in the middle of loading and there was a "game is not responding" message in task manager. However! I have start game save from before the update that playes well so far except when I go to cast a spell with my right hand a spell in my left hand gets tossed in the air and caught like a juggler. Strange! I now have "Skyrim unplugged" installed. Hopefully no more supprises from Steam :armscrossed:

There seems to be a problem with the Steam update. There's nothing we can do now but wait untill it's cleared up.

Sorry to hear that! You might want to deactivate your mods to see if the game playes ok that way. You also need to give us more information about what lead up to this situation.

Hey plaxeko! I'll try raising and lowering that number and see what changes. The problem is fixed though with the shadows outside.But how the problem got solved is strange. I have a Radeon HD 5870 card I don't know if this matters though, I set all the settings in catalyst control center to max then went into the skyrim launcher and changed the settings in the advanced button and set all the shadow blur and detail etc. to High and it has made the game much smoother and shadows aren't jumping and flashing all over the place!!!??? TTL

Hello plaxeko! I'm getting fed up with these shadows also. I loaded the 12.3 drivers and nothing has changed. This is a real immersion buster. The shadows jump around and seem to flicker all over the place. Sorry I don't have an answer for you but I'll google it and see what I can come up with. Hopefully someone will post an answer soon.

I usually try to use "msconfig" to uncheck all process that are not Microsoft, To play my game,but I think i can do much better If i new what other "Start up and"processes could be unchecked to thin the behind the scenes activities If Some one has experimented with this on a windows 7 x64 OS I sure woud be beholden to you it you would share it with me. I think 68 process and atrt ups is a little overboard. I only use this machine to access Internet and play games Thanks for any help! This IS a GREAT game :thumbsup:

Great news, I think I had a lot of problems with Vurts tree and grass mods in Morrowind to. He's a very talented modder though.
