  1. I really don't see how it could be impossible but instead rather difficult. I have no experience with modding but from what I've seen, amazing things have been done. Also I blame nostalgia for this.
  2. Forgive me if this has already done before but... Lets face it, Skyrim is nice and all with fancier graphics than Oblivion. But of course Oblivion has one thing Skyrim does not, attributes. Remember when your health, magicka/mana, and stamina increased with each level with the amount increased being based on certain attributes in Oblivion? (As was all the Elder Scrolls games that came before Skyrim) Well Bethesda decided it was a good idea to throw all THAT out the window and replace it with skill perks. Well my friends, Perks are nice and all but I would like to have the old system that Oblivion had back. Also you know how you have to choose one attribute (Health, Mana, Stamina) to increase with each level? Yes I want that gone too. In fact I want the whole system replaced with Oblivion's old system. I already have the Character Creation Overhaul, and Classic Classes & Birthsigns installed. Here's a whole list of mods I have installed. If you have any recommendations to make my experience feel more similar to Oblivion, please do so.
  3. Confirmed I am experiencing the same exact issue on cloudless or mostly cloudless nights.
  4. Hey, this guy requested a mod, not your logic so back off will you? In any case, the adoption limit is likely hardcoded, so it might not be possible. I'm just saying by a lore friendly stance all right? Why don't you back off with your hostile attitude? As for arunpal. There are many Dragonborns out there, each one of us is a Dragonborn. Some might be playing with realisim mods that add illnesses that could easily kill a human. Plus everyone dies, it's a fact of life. Screw you. At least I was being hostile for the right reason. So YOU back off. And Frankly I don't give a rats butthole about lore-friendliness. If they want it, let them have it, it's their game.

  6. I will remember that for the future. Thanks. :)
  7. Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this mystery? Anyone at all?
  8. I want a whole list of mods that improves the games graphics and do not interfere with each other. I'm already using Skyrim HD, and SkyEarth
  9. You are not the only one with this problem. I am having it too and I would really love it if setscale thing could be fixed at all.
  10. UPDATE! I took the original skeleton file and changed its size to double the original height and used the custom skeleton for the race while all the other vanilla races still retain the original skeleton. First person view still remains the same but third person view now has it so it seems my character in the floor/ground itself without actually being able to see the character themselves.
  11. Doesn't Hearthfire do all this already and more?
  12. I am making a mod (which I will never post on the nexus. It's for my own personal use as well as close friends only) that is based on the imperial but twice as big and 3 times as heavy and strong. My main problem that I am having is that despite the height of the race, both the first and third person views still persist on being at the exact same height as before. (Note that I never had this problem before when making a race of giants in Oblivion) The weird thing is that when I create a race of people that are half the size of imperials the camera actually adjusts itself to be lower. Why is that? Why would it adjust for a smaller race but not larger? Is there anyway to fix that?
  13. HEY! Who are we to say who can put what in their game? If they want anime let them have it, it's only going to affect all those who decide to download and put it in their game. I am getting real sick and tired of all this lore mongering bull-crap. You refuse to make it because it doesn't fit your idea of Skyrim lore? What the hell?! Oh well you all are only going to ignore me anyway because I am just the minority and after all no one cares for the minority, right? RIGHT?! Honestly if I had the time or modding skills to do this mod, I would do this one JUST to piss everyone who is against this mod request off.
  14. @ rapcoa Be my guest, go ahead and build this mod for us since you are so confident and so highly skilled. It may be that you are not familiar with the concept of hardcoding. The CK is a tool that is designed to deliver more of the same as what you already have. It adds things into the game that are like the things that are already there. So you can build more houses, more dungeons, more NPCs, more quests, etc. In other words, the CK is quite limited on what it can do and cannot do. It adds content. It does not change the most basic of game mechanics. It is sort of like a mechanical typewriter with English characters. This device is great at making letters and numbers in English on paper. You can make as many letters and numbers as you want in any order you like. But then what if you want to type with Chinese characters? How are you going to get this machine to type Chinese? You are sunk. This machine will not type Chinese. The CK is like this. Bethesda has only given modders the ability to change certain things. The source code is not available to build a new version of Skyrim, and it would violate copyright laws. Bethesda has not authorized modders to do this. To have a game that is like Dragon Age and Skyrim, you would basically need to program your own video game. I am quite skeptical that you would be able to bend Skyrim to your will in this instance. There was no need for the sarcasm. And that does suck. However I will admit what you can do with it is quite amazing regardless with all that I've seen. I just wish they would allow us to do more and weren't such butt-holes about their content. Yes that's right BETHESDA, I'm talking to you. I'm really not believing this. First its Blizzard and now this. Oh well I've thrown my 100 cents in, now I'm out of here.
  15. While I myself do not disapprove of this wonderful idea, the thing you must understand is that the fanbase is full of lore mongers. I myself would love to see something like that. In fact I would love to have some sort of alien invasion mod and have all the aliens wield advanced weaponry. So not all of us are against it. Me, I would personally do half of the requests myself, even if it meant getting bashed/flamed by other fans for even agreeing to do in the first place, I would still do it. Problem is, I have no modding talent.
  16. Yes however I think I would prefer the mod over that anyday, espeically if I want to avoid using the console for whatever reason.
  17. If skyrim is not built to do such a thing than that is what the mod would be for. So I say make it happen! Because I fully support this idea.
  18. Make this mod please? I'd greatly appreciate it. :) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/789929-giant-race-mod-for-skyrim-please/ By the way I have given you kudos, downloaded one of your mods, commented on it, and I intend to endorse it within the the next hour. :)
  19. Can someone please make a skyrim version of this mod? http://www.fileplanet.com/188781/180000/fileinfo/Elder-Scrolls-IV:-Oblivion---Giant-race Its a race mod, the giants are basically just 2x the enlarged imperial. It doesn't modify the imperial race however it just adds a race of giants that resembles imperials to the game. However instead of just simply imperials why not a do giant version of all the vanilla races? Imperial Giant Giant Nord Giant Elf Giant Orc The list goes on...
  20. Come on people, the guy requested a mod, so please just give him what he wants, not your logic and explainations. OK? Thanks! In any case I really do like this mod idea.
  21. I agree with this completely. We have two-handed axes and swords so where in the hell are the two handed maces (and clubs)?
  22. Hello? Is there anyone out willing to do this mod?
  23. Is no going to do this mod? I would love to have it as part of my characters spell selection. Its also for RP purposes.
  24. Necromancy is not exactly illegal in Tamriel, the very nation which Skyrim is part of, it's just the Mages guild despises it and are attempting to make it illegal. Right now all they, the mages guild, can do is cast them out.
  25. Alright in that case, I take back what I said. But I'll put my 5 cents in, the addition of muskets really would make the gameplay more interesting. Imagine if every single guard had a gun, and you (the player) only had armor, a sword, and a shield. Can you imagine how much harder the game would be than? :3
