  1. I'm currently working on a mod to make a more realistic version of laser weapons, eliminating recoil, unlimited ammo, etc. However, the best I've been able to do so far with FO4Edit is just change the ammo capacity. I haven't been able to figure out how to make it so it either doesn't take ammo or can shoot thousands of times before needed to be reloaded (and only needing to carry 1 or 2 rounds of ammo all game) to give it a false sense of infinite ammo. I know there are a lot of "unknown" sections under the weapon's data in FO4edit, so does anyone happen to know if this is possible yet or stumbled across something yourself that could aid me in my quest? If not, well I will have to wait for the GECK, I'm sure I'll be able to do it with that. Anywho, thanks all! Happy modding!
  2. I've been working on a Johnny Cash Radio Station in New Vegas for myself and I was wondering, once completed, if I upload it would it violate The Nexus' copyright infringement rule? I'm not very well read on the copyright laws in regards to uploading something like that. So if anyone on here can fill me in on it, I'd really appreciate it. If it turns out I can't upload it, well then I'll just keep it for myself. Thanks! =]
  3. Haha, wow I'm dumb. I never even tried to run it without having the disc in! I always had the disc in, so I figured it ran off the disc. Never used steam before this, so I thought it was just some sort of registration program for Fallout. So my problem is solved then. Thanks! =] YAAY! It works =]]] mucho thanks! kudos for all =]
  4. So my disc drive on my computer decided to burn out on me. And in order for me to play NV I need to have a disc in my drive. So does anyone know where I can get a LEGAL Digital Download (not steam, steam crashes my computer when I download from it) or if its legal to rip the data off the cd and use a virtual? drive ( i think thats what its called). I know that you can make back up discs of your games, so long as you don't sell them or give them away to other people, but is it the same for ripping and using the virtual drive? I'd prefer info on the ripping more because I don't want to spend another $50-$60 for a digital download. (this is to the admins: i have read the rules about piracy and hopefully I'm not violating them, but if so, please just delete the topic and not punish me)
