Red Eyes
FallOfTheRavenMaster replied to FallOfTheRavenMaster's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Ideas
Oh, thank you so much. The second mod you suggested had the perfect shade of red that I've been looking for. Thank you so so so much! -
As the topic description said, I am searching for every mod that has red eyes. I've been dying to create and play a character in DA:O with red eyes. And when I say red, I mean for the red to be the color of blood. I've already tried a few mods that give extra eye colors, some saying they have red, but really the color turns out to be a redish-brown or more pink than red. So I was wondering if you guys knew of any mods that had red eyes. Like this: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/260/9/0/Red_Eye_by_Krwawy_Edward.jpg

Face morph problem
FallOfTheRavenMaster replied to kothaufen's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
Double check that you've deleted all the files for this mod. Sometimes mods can save in multiple places such as Addin, Override, and the Modules folder. So it's best to go through all folders in your Dragon Age folder to ensure that none of the mod is still floating around. -
Ferelden Medels problem
FallOfTheRavenMaster replied to Skrimbag's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
It looks to me that you don't have the skin color/texture. Check your chargenmorphfcg.xml file. Make sure that whatever skin color or texture you're using is correctly resourced. This is also a good chance to see if you've complied all the mods needed for Ferelden Models correctly. Checking with CharGenMorph Complier allows you to check over your .xml and helps to remove bad references that could hinder your game play. -
True. Natural Bodies can be installed without DAMM. Realistic Look also doesn't need DAMM or DAModder to work, and for me personally I like Realistic Look better because you can see all your options much easier. With using NB-All in One you have to go back and forth to the config options to change something. While Realistic look is just popping into the override folder and either adding or delete a simple file and done. -lol-

Well the good news is that once you use DAModder to install a mod, you don't need to keep DAModder for the mod to continue to work. Once the mods uploaded properly it'll continue to work so long as you don't delete the mod itself. So if DAModder is really giving you such trouble with DAO ModManager you can un-install DAModder (or delete it) without it effecting your hairstyle mod.

*rubs hands together* Alrighty then. I shall now proceed with step by step instrutions on how to upload BSC manually. Natural Bodies has to be downloaded with DAO ModManager, you cannot use DAModder to upload it. You can get DAO ModManager here: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=277. There is even a file in the Misc. section of this download that gives you an example of the override config for Natural Bodies so you can compare. Step one is to download all mods you would like to use. This would be BSC Zesty and Natural Bodies All In One 3_0. Once the mods have downloaded you're going to open My Downloads (or where ever you downloaded the mods) and extract the files. You'll need 7zip to do this, right click on the zip files and click the option Extract Here. To upload BSC Zesty you're going to double click on the folder packages that should now be in your Download folder, and keep double clicking on the folders until you get to Luchaire. It should be packages/core/override/Luchaire. You're going to copy the entire Luchaire folder, just right click on the folder name Luchaire, and select copy. You're then going to open My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override. And in the override folder just right click and select paste. The Luchaire folder should now be in there. BSC Zesty should now work in Dragon Age. To upload Natural Bodies All in One... You're going to go back to your Download folder and you'll unzip Natural Bodies like you did with BSC. Assuming that you now have DAO ModManager on your system, you are going to open DAO ModManager (the .exe file). Select NBaio.override from the Download folder and drag the file into the upper right column of DAO Modmanager. It'll ask if you want to install this mod and click yes. You then right click on the Natural Bodies in the middle column and go to Config where you can use click on the body types. Drop down arrows will appear to allow you to config the characters' looks to what you perfer. Once that's done then everything should be set up now. If you have anymore trouble let me know.

Messed up Alistair
FallOfTheRavenMaster replied to Thisla's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
Now this is interesting. Which mods were you using to create Alistair's face? It looks to me that the chargenmorph is trying to refer to a file that may be missing from your override folder, such as a .mop file. -
I believe that the reason Better Sex Cutscenes didn't work for you properly is because it uses models from mods like Natural Bodies or Realistic Look. If you don't have either of those mods downloaded, BSC tends not to work correctly. Judging from your previous posts, you'll probably want more detailed descriptions on how to use those? They're a little tricky but if you're interested I'll walk you through it as much as possible. Also with both mods you have various options that you can choose from. I suggest looking at the pictures carefully to decided which models you want and I'll tell you how to download them. From there I'll go over how to get BSC to work for you.

Okay, so I just started playing DA: O again and though there are numerous mods for armor and hairstyles, I couldn't quite find what I wanted so I decided to request them. The first is an armor set for a Female Rogue, preferably either Human or Elven, or both. The armor I was hoping for is something close or as exact as someone can get to Fran's armor from Final Fantasy 12. I've always adored her amour and being able to play a Dalish elf with such an outfit would just make me positively giddy. My one concern is the spike of armor that looks like a tail in its design. Seeing as neither humans nor elves has a tail in DA, I think it can be assumed that this would be left out? Also, the stats for the armor aren't as important to me as much as the visual aspect so I leave it up to the Modder brave enough to attempt this. http://images.wikia.com/finalfantasy/images/5/55/Fran.jpg [too large to insert] The second request is following somewhat along the lines of the first. I wanted to request a hairstyle just like Lulu's from Final Fantasy 10. Ren's Beautiful People mod has a hairstyle that is similar to this, but the bangs of that certain model leave too much of a gap and there aren't enough braids for my taste. I intend to write to Ren and see if perhaps he/she would be willing to create this new hairstyle but in the meantime it can't hurt to have a formal request out there. http://static.gamesradar.com/images/mb//GamesRadar/us/Other/Features/Freakish%20Fashion/Finished/101107_freakish_obs4--screenshot_large.jpg I sincerely thank anyone willing to attempt either of my requests in advance as I know modding isn't always a fun adventure.
