Im currently exclusivly following neovalens install process aka STEP and i have learned a lot and i have not had any problems so far and the game is currently running fine not that i really have any mods only a few none peeformance/memory heavy like alternate start/live another life.

i get the same only at 281 mb How long does it take for your game to crash from start up? abouts 15 -20 mins
