The only thing I can think of is modding the INI files. Wish I could help you more, but that's the only way I know how to get rid of that. Remember to back up anything you edit.

I was wondering how to get my vanilla Skyrim back, just the way it comes from steam. I have so many mods now, I can't tell what is game and what is mod anymore. Can I just delete all the local files through Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim or do I have to backup certain files since "uninstalling" from steam just removes the tesv.exe? The only reason I ask is that, I've seen a few threads elsewhere that did remove the entire game, then reinstalled and it never worked right again.
