  1. Ahh sounds like a "UAC Loop." There are a couple things you can try that *should* solve the issue:

     

    First off right click the .exe launcher, click properties, click on the "compatibility" tab, then click on "change settings for all users". This will open up a new dialogue box. In the privilege level section at the bottom of the dialogue box, put a check beside the "run this program as an administrator". Hit Apply, Yes (in the "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to windows", OK, and OK to close all the windows.

     

    Second, if the first option doesn't work all the time, you can right click the launcher icon and simply hit the "run as administrator" option. However, I highly suggest you still follow through with the first step I described above before doing this one. That will save you always right clicking on the launcher every time you want to play skyrim.

     

    I tried both of these. It still loops....

    ARGH!!

     

    Thanks for the help, but I'm not sure what to do other than uninstall and try re-installing....

  2. I had tried everything you guys described, it wouldn't work. Still greyed out.

     

    Then I tried this and it is the solution!

     

    YOU HAVE TO PUT

     

    [Launcher]

    bEnableFileSelection=1

     

    ON TOP OF THE INI FILE!! Hope that helps.

    I Did all of that and i still have nothing in my Data files and i have done everything you said!
