  1. Basically, I'd like the same thing done for NV as this does. The Pip-Boy ruins heavy armor for me. At the same time, I hate the mods that just blanket make the Pip-Boy invisible, even when you bring it up. It's just unattractive. If possible, I'd like the button for the light to remain the same. Thanks to anyone who ends up making this. c:
  2. You're one smart cookie. Always have been. Now is, of course, no exception. The ideas presented here are simply brilliant and keeps everything mostly fair and not punishing anyone in a definite manner. So, if I decide to use an adblocker as well as turn off the site skins (though the adblocker would do that anyway), I could still use the endorsement system and get the 1 MB/sec download speed that is the default. Fortunately for you, this post of yours FINALLY reminded me that, OH WAIT, I have AdBlocker on for the nexus sites! So I've turned it off. And, uh, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to turn it back on, but I'll endure... for yooouuuu (but mostly for the mods. :P). Looking forward to some of the other (hopefully positive) changes you have up your sleeve. :)
  3. So, I know about, of course, Nevada Skies and URWL. There's also some mods that change the color of the world, such as Custom Lighting Overlay (which I'm currently testing out). So, really, I just want to see a list of mods like this that make the world look different without actually CHANGING it. Ideally, I'd like a URWL-esque mod that doesn't friggin' blind me whenever I look anywhere in the direction of the sun. Still, I'm open for other suggestions. :)

  6. Don't get me wrong, you have some nice "Reenter the Sierra Madre" mods out there already, but none of them fit what I really want for my own personal use. Basically, I'm wanted a door to appear in that area filled with rubble. Just plop the door right as you turn and that'll be good ("You" being whoever makes this mod, if anyone does). Now, I can do this myself, but what I can't do... which is... 1. Make the door unlock only AFTER completion of Dead Money. 2. Get rid of ALL enemy spawns. 3. Get rid of all areas that have patches of The Cloud. 4. Fix weather and annoying "HooooOOOOO. HooooOOOOO. HoooOOOOOO. HoooooOOOO" sound going on in the areas surrounding the casino after completing Dead Money. With these few things, I can expand the mod to something that I think I and a lot of other people will like, which is basically making the Abandoned BoS Bunker a bit better to live in and the Sierra Madre a nice place to relax after a lot of hours of harsh traveling. If this mod IS made, don't worry. A LOT of credit will be given to the co-author...
  7. I could help in my spare time as well. However, I don't know the F2 map very well. I do, though, have LOTS of experience with F1's map. If it'll help in the mod, though, I'll go back and play F2.
  8. Fallout 3 is complete is every aspect, including patches and DLC. So, no, that sadly isn't the problem. :( DAMN MY OCD! DAMN IT TO HELLLLLL. And, just for extra crap to tell you how annoying it is, I'm working on several different mods right now cleaning up several parts of New Vegas... *Slaps head* Oww...
  9. That's my problem. Even though I have the newest F3 GECK available, it says the mod is too new for the .exe to run...

  11. Well, I'm VERY OCD. So, when I downloaded the Mannequins mod for F3, I disliked the names given to thee mannequins. So, I went, "Meh. I'll just change the names in the GECK real quick". So, I start up F3 GECK 1.5, set the Mannequin mod as the active file (with the base game, of course), hit "Okay" and... dammit. Now it starts spilling crap about how the mod is too new for the .exe to read. How this is possible, I'm not sure, since I'm made sure that the GECK is fully updated to 1.5 Can someone help me?

  13. Nihternnes - Even if it WASN'T made by BethSoft (though it probably is), BethSoft can tell the developers what engine to use, because THEY are the publishers. You think Obsidian wanted to work with that PoS Gamebryo engine? Nobody does, but BethSoft said, "Use that engine!", and voila! It was used. So, more likely than not, Fallout 4 will use either BethSoft's new engine, or the engine used for RAGE since they now own iD.
  14. I am creating a mod that does... something cool in Freeside. However, it needs NPCs... which I can't create because I don't know how to script. I simply ask that someone who can script (and use proper grammar) NPC behaviors and the like. Pwzuz? :)
  15. Sorry, but in this day and age, those graphics just WON'T cut it. It's unfortunate if you can't afford to upgrade, but when it comes to helping the gameplay, bad graphics don't contribute too much to immersion. Think about this, the minimum year until the next Fallout major release is 2012. In 2012, we're going to have graphics that are 6 years old? Nopers.
