Easy work around is to find the synth settlers in X-edit and simply removed their protected status there. They will never have the protected status to begin with but it will save you a lot of head-aches.

Real shame, I really love your mod (gotta make sure not to delete it now). Got one small question though: Have you considered reposting your mod without the mods that the authors refuse to grant usage up and simply apply them as required masters? For all intent and purpose: DL required mods DL UWS w/ baked in patches for said required mods ???? Profit! I'd be more than willing to rework the ESP to function properly in that manner if you still have any desire to continue with your mod. It's just such a waste of so much quality work to let it just die. Regardless of what you opt to do, I very much appreciate all the time and effort you put into your mod and can definitely say it is/was a must have for us who use 3440 x 1440 monitors.
