  1. Like described in the title. I have made a new background, which I want to use as a basis for both the background and the hot file image, but as soon as I click save, the old one pops right back up. I'm clueless here. The mod in question is here: http://www.nexusmods.com/darkestdungeon/mods/51/? Cheers!
  2. Excellent! Finally a nice solution to my papyrus error (although a couple of years since fix was introduced). Just wanted to give my thanks! Cheers.
  3. Is that a rethorical question? Yes, Its a GREAT setup, and you should be happy as a crazy frog with your performance in Skyrim! I'd rather get a GTX 770 for the most bang for the buck though. I'm running two of these babies in SLi right now, and while a bit overkill atm I havent regretted a second since getting them. Running only one card was more than perfectly fine to be honest. You just cant select those 32x AA settings  Oh, and one last thing. That 120 GB solid state disk you mention. Is that the system disk? In that case I'd add a bit more space as it tends to fill up (you know, the way Windows drives do). Also consider getting a 2 TB disk instead of 1 TB, as its possible to find perfectly well priced SATA drives with those specs, and these also fill up eventually. Just my three cents. Everybody makes mistakes, and I'd say that AMD has messed up more than once through the years as well. I love my Nvidias and have had no problems with these whatsoever the last few years. Up to you however. I like both, as long as they do what they are supposed to do.
  4. Yeah, I have to join the crowd on this one. You will barely be able to run games like Skyrim with even one graphics setting set to anything higher than the lowest setting, in turn meaning that it will not look as good as it deserves. I personally would rather save and build a decent desktop pc, but of course I understand that if you're starting from scratch (lacking even a monitor), this is quite expensive no matter how you look on it. If you want help picking good components which represent a good bang for the buck, you will probably get a lot of help here on this site. If you want, I can help you via msg. as well, if you prefer that. Basically no laptops will give you good graphics at good prices, as most gaming laptops costs quite a bit more than the equivalent desktop pc, while offering generally less bang for the buck.
  5. Hey guys. Just wanted to drop a word or two. Love this site and what it has done to help modding and the community in general. I became a lifetime premium member yesterday, as a way of saying thanks to all of you who have made all this possible. I'm getting a sense of awe when I'm browsing mods for for instance Skyrim, and find that normal people like you and me has spent so much time of their lives to create excellent additions to an already great game (for instance perseid9's realistic needs mod, Cheskos frostfall mod and isoku's excellent "wet and cold"), and that the nexus gives these people a mature and intelligently designed site in which they can share their hard work to the masses. Karma will favor you good people, and I surely hope that you feel as appreciated as you deserve. Chris signing in for the long run here. Look forward to seeing what good stuff you people will come up with next. Keep doing what you do. Peace out!
