  1. And the next one would have a bit of brick etc etc Example with a bit of colour (these are not the models I would use lol these are just ideas for the mod)
  2. No lol I mean a quest to actually build your own house. Similar to the stronghold you get but you get to build it properly. (Not sure if this works but...." Example pic
  3. Lots of static models to be exact. It would literally build a house. From the foundation to the wooden framework etc.
  4. Just wandering if the desire to replicate the house building DLC (Hearthfire) from Skyrim would be a good idea. Anyone any thoughts on this? I have been playing about and made a few models to kick start it but not sure I want to go to all the trouble of making 50 or so models if it wasn't something people would want. For those that don't know what Heartfire is....... It allows you to buy a land deed then actually build a fresh house from the ground up. You set the foundations, then the frame work, walls, room etc. You also decide which rooms would like in the house (alchemy lab, enchanters towers, bedroom etc) This is achieved by the placement of a workbench at the site that basically gives you a menu and depending on what you have in your inventory it will allow you to do the building work. The internal decoration is determined by what type of room you want each section to be and then heavy enable/ disable scripting takes place to give the desired effect. Hope that sums it up? Any input and thoughts on this idea would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Um odd. I get a 404 trying to look at the image link :(
  6. The models for the creatures are one piece unlike the body parts of the people. The problem isn't taking them apart and glueing them back together in a different arrangement, the problem is the animation. How long have you modelled and what are you using?
  7. I usually find it easier to model a new sword, find the textures then write a 200 cell quest for it than it is to sort out the images on here lol Thanks for the update :D
  8. The first one always gets you hooked mate. I made my first shack outside Gnaar Mok 10 years ago lol and I'm still here now :D Need any help just drop me a line I would be happy to assist a budding modder. Good choice about the relocation by the way as Balmora has been battered with mods since day one. Pelegaid is a good place (or around it at least) as there aren't too many mods (I've seen) located around that area, Good luck!
  9. Only suggestion I can give you (I also play and mod Skyrim) is to get Morrowind on Disc. Don't get it from Steam as a lot of mods just don't seem to like it when you do. I have both and believe me Steam can be a pain.
  10. I'm sure the above page (oops didn't look) is filled with goodies but to be honest the best thing you can do in my opinion is play it through the first time without any additions. Some visual additions are really essential now becuase of the age of the game. Better Bodies/ Clothes/ Heads etc are a must and perhaps one of the many texture mods that overhaul the general graphics. As for mods that actually add quests and land etc I would personally wait until you have at least played through the main quests once. There are some great ones out there; May I recommend "The Underground" for a start.
  11. Hi mate The simple answer is no. You could break them apart yourself but to be honest it would be quicker making a new model.
  12. >.< Now I have the same problem but a new driver wont fix the damn thing wtf!! Reinstalled everything so complete clean installed of MW, Tribunal and BM and still Tes wont start up.....same error as above but not a gfx issue - evidently.
  13. In the midst of making a rather large mod and the only thing I hate doing is interiors......anyone want to help me out it would be great :D [email protected] I have several meshes and re-textures I have made and also a small village that requires interiors but my imagination is rather lax when it comes to insides of shops/ houses. Please drop me a line if you can knock up some interiors based on the theme (will give details on contact).
