In the screenshot view taken with steam overlay it's a black rectangle. What is this bizarre thing, why does it keep popping up in my game and HOW CAN I GET RID OF IT? Any suggestions or help to solve this mystery that has plagued me for some time would be of great appreciation. :)

So I'm curious, what is your guy's default hair color? In all times of the day except for 5 PM in certain locations, the color of the default hair is grey as opposed to brown. I also have this problem with brown and a bit with chocolate, what's going on here? I've heard that the character creation screen in Fallout 3 is just bad, but I want to confirm it for myself. When I select brown hair, should I be seeing (almost) grey hair for the whole day? And no, I am not using any sort of mods at all, no mods have been installed as the computer I am got wiped completely. If you don't count the second time I installed Fallout 3 to try to fix the problem, this is a completely fresh install.
