  1. Oh, NMM confused me with the whole ArchiveInvalidation... I do prefer NMM over FOMM though, but I suppose I can switch. Installing mods manually seems pretty easy, i've done one before. Not exactly sure how to make a merged patch but im sure I can learn. I apologize guys, I dont have much experience with modding. That is why I wish to learn more. Thank you for the answers though. EDIT: I just uninstalled FO3. I'll just re do everything, this time with FOMM. I'll be sure to be careful and such. I am using GOTY btw... and I heard people have problems with it. EDIT #2: I'd hate to trouble you... but for additional files such as Mothership Zeta Crew Mod.. If I download the main file, and then the air support file, and I activate them and the air support file asks to over write something... do I say no? Or what...? Also, I did figure out to how make a merged patch. I'll re download FO3 later today, download all my mods, make a merged patch, and see how everything goes.
  2. Not even sure what you mean by the first one... I just installed em. Its not that trivial. Second, Archive Invalidation is unchecked, meaning it is off. Third.. I dont need the merged patch for what I have activated.
  3. Hello my friends. I am havng problems with textures. Most notably Radroaches, and weapons mods such as "The Proud American" (http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/13850) The Proud American is pitch white, no texture change at all. The roaches body changes texture to its surroundings. I have multiple mods installed and will list them in their load order. I had the same texture issues with weapons from Classic Fallout Weapons Revived. Archive invalidation is disabled, I have the latest FOSE, the latest update for FO3 GOTY, and I am using Nexus Mod Manager. Also my game freezes during combat, that might be due to the number of mods I had on previously... those are all disabled and deactivated. Thanks.
  4. Hello. First time modder. I was looking through some tutorials but I couldn't seem to find anything on aesthetic items or mounts. Let's start with aesthetic items. What I mean by this, is an item that you could put onto your character just for show purposes. Let's say I made a model of a sword in it's sheath, how would I make it so that you could place it on your characters back? I'm a little confused on that. Would I have to attach it to an existing armor or a custom made armor? Next is mounts, how would I turn an animal into a mount? Thanks. I apologize if this is the wrong forum, or if I missed a tutorial explaining what I needed to know.
