  1. You can't, and you.probably never will be able to. PCs will always be superior to consols in all fields, except maybe graphics, but there are plenty of high-end computers that surpass consols even in this. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's even a way into the data folders required for mods on the 360 that PCs have. Unless they integrated the steam wprkshop with xbox in some way, I doubt mods will ever appear on consols, other than DLC. That's the entire reason I got skyrim for the PC, you can even play with an xbox controller if you llike the feel of it.
  2. Well load order is what allows us to change the vanilla (default/original) Skyrim. If two mods change the same thing, such as the ebony sword recipe in Perrain's example, whichever mod is loaded last will overwrite the previous mods in the load order. This is also why Skyrim.esm (the entire game of Skyrim with all its heightmaps, meshes, and textures) is loaded first. If it didn't, the game wpuld be impossible to mod, as vanilla skyrim would overwrite anything a mod changed. And to answer your question, it should be easily changed by clicking on the mod you wish to change the load order for, and then clicking on the up and down arrows on the side of the screen. You do need to be in your list of mods, however, so you should bee able to see Skyrim.esm and all the other esp's you have. I haven't used Wyre or BOSS, but NMM seems to be incredibly similar to OBMM and you change load order the same way as that. I'm assuming that Skyrim NMM works the same way as Oblivion NMM, as I haven't used NMM for skyrim quite yet, but I've used it for Oblivion. It shouldn't be more than clicking the down arrow though
  3. It is so incredibly annoying how after you join the Dark Brotherhood, guard that are passing by will whisper to you "psst... I know who you are. Hail Sithis." This is immersion-breaking for a 2 reasons: 1. If I'm a killer, which is against the law, and you're a guard, who enforces the law, should you be aresting, or at least questioning me? 2. How does everyone suddenly know I'm in the Dark Brotherhood, isn't it supposed to be hidden and secret? Maybe if I was walking around in the armor, but I prefer the thieves guild armor anyway so I only really wear the boots and gloves which arnt that flashy and barely even noticeable (by the way, this same problem appears with the thieves guild armor where guards say something like "you're not fooling anyone with that armor, thief." Yes, I'm a thief. Arrest me, interegate me, kick me out of town, do something other than just walk by!) 3. What's a guard doing saying "Hail Sithis" anyway? It might be because they're scared of me, but at lower levels you can still join the brotherhood and guards and kill you in seconds. And if he's serious, I don't think being a gaurd was his best career choice...
  4. It actually just said January, not mid January. It could be released on the 1st, perhaps the 31st, or maybe later if they fall behind. And guys, you should really just be happy we get such an amazing tool to work on these amazing games. Let Beth take as long as they want, id rather wait a year than receive a buggy or broken ck.
  5. About your first suggestion, aboutt massive battles, that isn't too complicated to mod(but the ck is required unless you don't mind spending a few hours typing in repetative console commands that may crash your game) although you should have a basic understanding of the ck. I was able to make large battle mods in oblivion after just the cs wiki's beginer's guide. Your second request however, is possible, but its also illegal. Beth doesn't actually own every single mesh and texture in Skyrim, third parties do a lot of that. Besides, oblivion is an amazing game in its own right, especially with mods(oblivion modded is way better than skyrim unmodded imo). You can, however, do this in your own game if you know how. There probably won't be any guides on this though, as its highly frowned upon to even discuss mods like that. And anyway, its been 200 years since the oblivion crisis, so a lot has changed. There are all ready a few teams out there that are working on bringing a lore-friendly Cyrodiil to Skyrim and also a few others. http://beyondskyrim.daryam.com/index.php?title=Main_Page That's the place to go to watch for the province mods and it is hosted and run by some well-known modders.
