The Champion. A Daedric Prince possessing Pelinal's artefacts is pretty much an unstoppable force in my opinion.
Second goes to the Dragonborn. Since he has incredible shouts that would pretty much obliterate the Nerevarrine. Remember that he/she can summon two dragons (so far) and the souls of a hero that is possibly equal to the Nerevarine in its own right. He also possesses the bow of Akatosh.
I think the people saying Nerevarrine are operating only on nostalgia. Then again I could be too for Oblivion. Of course I did not delve that much into Morrowind as I have done either of its successors. Someone should list all the potential powers that the Nerevarrine could call on and compare to the other two.
Agree. I myself had not play Morrowind, so I only listed what I know from what I've read.
-
The CoC was just a mortal. A powerful mortal, but a mortal nonetheless with nothing generally special about him beyond his abilities (That are, again, entirely mortal).
The Nerevarine is immortal unless slain by the blade, has proven drastically and ridiculously powerful (Killed 2 gods, an aspect of an even greater god, and so on), and is known to probably still hold on to the artifacts Wraithguard, Sunder, and Trueflame, all stupidly powerful in their own right.
The Dragonborn obviously has an inherent ability for the use of the Thu'um and is a more than capable combatant (being an expert killer of all things), though still is relatively mortal.
All in all, it would probably end up being a fight between the Dragonborn and the Nerevarine. The CoC could probably hold his own for a while (especially if we presume hes using the Crusader's Relics), but he would be the first to fall. After that, it just ends up being whose going to die first between two fairly equal combatants, perhaps with a slight advantage to the Neravarine.
You are forgetting that the CoC became Sheogorath in Shivering Isles DLC. He became immortal since then.

A few days ago, i came across a thread that discussed about the protagonist of TES 3,4 and 5 that which is the strongest. (Link) There's probably a thread like this exist somewhere on nexus. But I think it's interesting to discuss this in a different way. I'm talking about the canon, post-main quest & official DLCs of the protagonist. That means YOUR character is irrelevant. And so is 100% chameleon exploit(exploits, game bugs in general), titles(Arch-Mage, Gray Fox, etc) , mods and the sort.
So here's what I think: (And I'll refer the protagonist as "he" for the sake of simplicity)
Nerevarine - First thing first, I have never played Morrowind before so I don't know the details about him. All I know that he is the Reincarnation of Indoril Nerevar(hence his name) and have some sort relationship with Azura, immune to diseases, fought some sort of Daedric prince and possibly became a Werewolf in Bloodmoon DLC.
7th Champion of Cyrodiil - Also known as the 2nd Divine Crusader(Knights of the Nine DLC) and Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness(Shivering Isles DLC). Being a Divine Crusader easily make him one of the strongest person in Tamriel. And at the same time, he also became a Daedric Prince. Which potentially makes him stronger than Nerevarine(reincarnation of a legend) and/or Dragonborn(body of a mortal, soul of an immortal).
Dragonborn - Having a body of a mortal and a soul of a dragon. The ultimate dragon slayer capable of using Dragon Shouts to annihilate his enemies and to slay dragons that were immortal. Slayed lots of dragons and defeated(not slain) Alduin, the Nordic God of Destruction to delay the Elder Scroll's prophecy. He also potentially became a Vampire Lord in the Dawnguard DLC.
So yeah, I think the Champion of Cyrodiil is the strongest of the three main characters. Not that I mean that he could easily defeat them. Both Nerevarine and Dragonborn is a demigod in a way. But the Champion is a Daedric Prince! That means something, right? And those are my opinion, now let's hear yours. :P

A simple mod that affects gameplay experience a lot. What does everyone think?
-
Looks awesome! just what I like. Spacey. xP
Anyways, I think you should add more orange lights around the corners. It's too dark for my tastes. But, to each his own I guess.

Didn't read all 7 pages. Too tired atm, will read later. Apologies if I said the same thing others have. (Or something that doesn't make sense.)
Would you pay for mods?
2-No.
Why the heck would I pay for a mod? Mods are suppose to be free! Look at Minecraft for example. I don't see people charging for mods.
I'm technically a modder myself, (Making a mod for NV, but isn't done) but I wouldn't feel right to charge people for using my mod. (look ^)
Would you want to charge for your mods?
2-No, I am just glad that people enjoy my mods.
Although donating is an option, it would help out a lot of people. But I doubt modders can make a living off donations.

Same as thrill606. I would like it more if it's spacey. Tight space makes me dizzy for some reason. Maybe cause my mouse sensitivity is too high? A nice feature to have Weapon racks/stands/walls, like the ones in Skyrim.
Hope it's released soon! It looks really good. :)

If you want to you can try and adjust the ##SightingNode in Nifskope. You can move it up or down very slightly on the Y axis. It's a lot of trial and error to get them all lined up properly. Also you'd have to do it for each variant that uses the ACOG.
This is what zeelotlee reply to me when I asked him about aligning the sights.
Also, wrong section.
OK I understand the sighting node, and I'd assume ACOG, is a ref to having a scope mod?
Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention ACOG is the scope in his mod.
Sorry for wrong section
Also confused as to why the sight is off when I didn't change the hight of the body?
I don't think I can help you with that. Maybe someone else can help you. I'm new to modding. Still reading Blender tutorials. >_>

Please define "basic". do you mean a companion that never talks or have any quests?
Otherwise, here's a good one http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41779 It's even voiced and all.

I play a lot of FPS Games. Crysis 2, CoD, BulletStorm.. Just to name a few. And I find that the Combat in Fallout lacks a lot. There's no sprinting or melee. Which pretty much all FPS Games has. And I know what you're thinking. "This isn't your typical FPS Game, it's a FPS RPG!"... Or maybe I'm just being paranoid... Anyway, here's some of my idea of making the Combat System much more fun.
-Melee. To be specific, smack someone in the face with mah rifle. Or stab someone with a bayonet. (WME)
Crysis has it. Mass Effect has it. Gears Of Wars has it. CoD and BF has it. Why not Fallout?
(Found a website on Google. But it has strong language, so I decided to take out the rude words and keep the important stuffs.)
Knocking someone out by hitting them with the butt of a pistol. When done with a long gun (e.g. rifle or shotgun), it is referred to as a "Butt Stroke", or "Butt Stroking".If you do this in Real Life — with enough force — you can actually kill the victim by cracking their skull. Also, even the butt of a gun has quite a few pointy parts, which, if whacked against your face, will cause a lot of bleeding and probably leave a large and permanent scar.
-Something I found really wrong is that when you use Stealth Boy, aiming down the sights is really messed up. You can't see crap even if you have Night Sights on your pistol. Scopes are just messed up. Try and use ZL Armaments and use Stealth Boy with ACR w/ ACOG Scope. Someone should make it able to see the Night Sights or Scope like in Crysis 2.
-Sprinting. Yes. Project Nevada have it. What I think it should look like is you hold the gun on your chest while sprinting, and not holster the gun every time you start to sprint. Plus, What's cooler than having a animated sprint. I am not trying to be rude or anything, Project Nevada is a great mod. I hope the authors don't take this the wrong way.
Reference video:
Go to 0:15. (This is the best one I could find lol.)
-Crouching is good, but what's better to Prone and get to really low cover? Most cover in the game have your head sticking out, I'm not sure why they didn't have a Prone feature. I think it'll be pretty cool to crawl around the battlefield and snipe people while lying down.
That's all I can think of. If any modder think it's possible, please do create a mod for it.

Okay so I've been working on a 50BMG revolver based on the .44 magnum revolver, I've done the model, which is just an edited .44, but I've reached the limits of what I can do.
So far the bits that I haven't been able to do are the quick loaded, the casings, a working world model and the iron sights. I can do the casing and should be able to manage the quick loader and world model but I'm completely stuck on the iron sights.
The front aim marker has been changed a bit but not by much and the back one has been left alone, and the gun hasn't gained or lost any hight , yet when I put it in game, the iron sights seem like you're looking through them at an angle, from really far back and the gun is far to low, despite the fact I haven't changed the sighting node (see pic)
Any advice on this?
If you want to you can try and adjust the ##SightingNode in Nifskope. You can move it up or down very slightly on the Y axis. It's a lot of trial and error to get them all lined up properly. Also you'd have to do it for each variant that uses the ACOG.

In MineCraft, we use Right-Click to shoot the arrow and Left-click to smack. (or melee if you're a nerd)
The controls are a bit weird, but you'll get used to it soon. Same goes for Skyrim, you'll get use to it after a while.
Wait...
If we're holding the bow on our right hand, do we Right-Click to shoot and Left-Click to Block?
This is kinda confusing. @_@

I'm getting it on PC. Mainly because I don't own a Console and got a nice PC that could last me a few years.
I'm not getting a Console anytime soon, but Consoles is easier to play games on.
I think that's why more kids play Consoles more than PC, cause they don't have to worry about Hardware, Performance, etc etc.
You just turn on the power, put the disc in, and start smashing buttons.
Not that I'm saying I'm a Adult.(Technically, I'm a Teenager.) But I know about Computers more than Consoles.
I can't get over my first experience playing a console and "immature" kids poop over the fact that they lose to me on a match of CoD.
And kept swearing at me just because they lose. Worst experience ever, Imo.
PS. I'm not making any sense, am I? >.<

Like comic-con or quake-con.
I live in Scotland it's so unfair.
You're not alone, my friend. :(
I live in Malaysia and there's no Cons here.

Hi all - I too am waiting for the specs to be released as I am planning on purchasing a new laptop to coincide with the release of Skyrim!
I have got the following earmarked as a potential purchase - what do you guys think?
PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ i7 2617M 1.5GHz (2.6GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM English Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
GRAPHICS CARD 2GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M
MEMORY 6144MB 1333MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM [1x2048 + 1x4096]
HARD DRIVE 256GB Solid State Hard Drive
Do you think that will be sufficient to run Skyrim on its top settings?
Thanks
It should. I mean, it's a console port. I don't expect it to bog down a mid gaming Laptop. (I hope I used the term "bog" correctly lol)
But, if the PC version gets special treatment.. It'll be a different story. (By special treatment I mean getting special stuffs like HD Textures)
My rig can run Crysis 2 Max Settings with DX11 and HD Textures with 50 FPS average and it never drops below 30.
I'm not worried about not being able to run Skyrim. It's pretty beast. xP
Here's my specs if anyone is interested.
OS: Windows 7 HP 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500 @ 3.30GHz
RAM: 4GB Single Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24) / 4GB RAM
MOB: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8P67 LE (LGA1155) / ASUS P8P67 LE
GPU: ASUS EAH6870 Series (ASUStek Computer Inc) / ASUS HD6970 DirectCU
HDD: 977GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARS-00MVWB0 ATA Device (SATA) / 1TB HDD
The ones on the left is from Piriform's Speccy, and the ones on the right are basically the name on the box.
And yeah it's custom built. Pre-builts just doesn't have the appeal and performance that customs has.

-OR-
You could close your door. lol

Crysis 2 was leaked BEFORE it was even released. So I actually wouldn't be surprise if pirates get to play it first. (Since TES is such a popular franchise.)
If I'm not wrong, it would require a few days or weeks to crack a game. That's just my assumption anyway, I can't find anything about how pirates crack a game on google.
Even if it got cracked, what then? It's going to be full of bugs anyway.
And it's almost impossible to get the game in my country on the first day. (I live in Malaysia)
The local game store doesn't even have a quarter of what's available in GameStop! Only way of getting games is through Online Store like Amazon, Steam, Origin and pirating.
And most of the games here sells way more expensive than the original price in other countries. A game normally costs 50USD would costs 60USD here in Malaysia, not to mention shipping fee of extra maybe 10/20 for the retail version. (From Amazon anyway.)
Edit: Sorry, just realize that I got side tracked from my little rant. :P
Btw, the poll is kinda stupid. Just because Skyrim uses Steam doesn't mean it wouldn't be easily cracked, just like F:NV. (I have no idea when F:NV got cracked so don't troll me)
Edit2: lol OP is banned.

Played Dead Money, Honest Hearts and Old World Blues. Haven't brought Lonesome Road yet.
So anyway, IMO OWB is the best.
- It has a nice High Techy stuffs in it with nice intact buildings. (It's 200 years after the Great War and yet you guys can't make new buildings?)
-Storyline isn't bad, though it could've been better.
-Nice Base filled to the brim with High-Tech stuffs.
-Awesome Weapons like the Proton Axe.
*Robots gets annoying after a while.
Honest Hearts
-livelier than the rest of the DLCs. (I mean, it has people! While the rest of it is just Robots, Holograms and a *few* Humans that is interactable.)
-Nice scenery.
-Nice storyline.
*Quests is kinda boring, almost no combat at all.
*Joshua isn't as badass as I thought.
Dead Money is my least favorite DLC by far. I mean, who would like the thought of running around in the fog while waiting for the Ghosts to ambush you while wearing a explosive collar...
-Story was epic.
-Nice dialogs, quotes and references. (i.e Begin, Again)
-Some weapons like Holorifle is awesome.
*Some weapons are a bit dull, Automatic Rifle is basically another LMG, Police Pistol is, again, another .357 revolver.
*Explosive collar and the Cloud is very annoying.

Apparently, I'm still Crashing with Bloody Mess. Still crashes without it when I rip people apart with a sniper rifle though.
I have E.V.E if that helps.
EDIT: Oh wow. I'm an idiot. There's a CP but I forgot to install it. Let's hope it won't CTD when after I install the CP.
EDIT 2: Nope, still crashes even with the CP.
EDIT 3: I am the most idiotic person. Ever. Changing the load order manually seems to help with the crash. Still need to confirm though,
EDIT 4: -sigh- I crashed again =.=
EDIT 5: disable a few esp from Enchanced Blood Texture seems to fix the problem.
Regarding GRAPHICS mods and the like... something I wrote in another thread seems reasonable enough to copy/paste here:
Potentially self-serving answers below since I wrote/worked on many of them, but still:
IMAGINATOR : Let's you control nearly all visual aspects of the game. Brightness/Contrast/Color/Tint/Light Output/etc... nearly limitless possibilities.
DYNAVISION2 : Adds in-game depth of field
CINEMATECH : Adds film grain/grits. Doesn't have to be overpowering and adds a nice touch.
DIRECTORS CHAIR : Controls all of the above within MOD CONFIGURATION MENU (awesome).
FNV ENHANCED SHADERS LITE : Adds nice post-processing typically found in DX10/11 games.
NEW VEGAS CONFIGATOR : Must have. Turn on threading for most things, then fiddle with the settings to your heart's content.
Other things:
NVSE (of course)
4GB ENABLER and/or ENABLE LARGE ADDRESS AWARE on the EXE.
Turn on AMBIENT OCCLUSION in your NVIDIA settings (if you have NVIDIA that is). Use NVIDIA INSPECTOR if you can't find 'em. Google it.
Also turn on TRIPLE BUFFERING... helps with stuttering.
Look for GOPHER'S MODDING TUTORIALS on the NEXUS. He has one on VISUAL MODS and STABILITY. Good stuff.
And probably can't hurt to find the FALLOUT NEW VEGAS TWEAK GUIDE.
Thanks. Will do that now.
I'm using a ASUS EAH6870. (Basically a ATI HD6870 but ASUS. I think?)
-
Okay, I'll try to reinstall those mods and give FNVE a go.
I'll be back. =)
It worked!
I'm not sure if it'll still CTD randomly. Will Post if it doesn't or does crashes.
Thanks! =D

Some times the link is easier for noobs... like I said in my first post FOMM has it too.
FNVEdit is simple... run it and wait for the loader to finish. Once it has right click the window with all your active mods then select create merged patch. Then activate it before you play... done.
Oops must have somehow missed it.
I got FNVEdit before and when it loaded about half. It stopped loading, half of the load order that appear in FOMM is not loaded in FNVE. whats that about?
-
Fallout 3 is kinda old.(Not that I hated it) And even if I want to get it, I couldn't get it now.
FOMM:
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901
BOSS:
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35999
FNVEdit:
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34703
ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated:
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35935
New Vegas Script Extender:
Get NVSE, use FOMM, sort with BOSS, make a merged patch with FNVEdit, and make sure you invalidate through FOMM or the link. This will help prevent problems in the future ;)
I got all of those except FNVEdit and ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. Doesn't FOMM comes with one?
Could you also please give me a link to FNVEdit guide or tutorial? I'm new to this Merged Patch thingy.

Hi guys!
I'm new to the forums, so I don't know whether I posted this thread in the right place.
If not, any mods or admin please move this thread to where it belongs. =) (And btw, English is not my first language. If I do not make sense, please correct. kthxbai.)
So, i'm reinstalling FNV and I having trouble to decide which mods I want for my next playthrough.
The last game was bugged, crashes when I talk to Sink CIU, and some weapons unable to install certain mods its suppose to. (I have WMX)
I'm looking for a Overhaul kinda mod like nVamp and FOOK. But nVamp has too many incompatiblities with other mods that I want.
Also looking for nice weapon packs like Nordic Firearms, ZL Armaments and Shrapnel that have weapon mods with it. But I don't want Shrapnel because it adds a giant Armory in the suite.
Some Armor packs. And some tweaks to game like Arwen NV Realism Tweak and PMT.
I also want to install Type3 and some Armors. (Nothing to do with this thread)
Oh I also prefer Packs so things don't get messy(I really don't wanna see 300 esp in the load order). I hope its not too much. =)
So please leave your suggestions on what I should install. Thanks in advance.
And no, I don't have any experience with Wyre Flash or w/e you guys called it, If that helps.
EDIT EDIT: Can't believe I forgot this. I'm also looking for graphic mods like retextures, enb and fancy stuffs like that.
