  1. Yup. Still watching it. Not played in a long while with ESO coming out but still watching thread. :)
  2. Says files are currently hidden. =\
  3. Very nice. Reminds me of something from immersive armors.
  4. Not sure. Combat monks. Robes with a bit of armor maybe? Actually, this guy did a decent job of it. Me being an armor guy I like seeing metal on things classified as armor so it's a decent start! http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/character-building/forum/topics/character-build-the-monk-yismir-dragon-of-the-north?xg_source=activity
  5. So, I was actually thinking. Skyre makes unarmed combat kinda possible, ever thought of something like a Monks armor?
  6. I've noticed that alot of the modders use symbols and the like on their armors and that always makes them a big hit. Also some tend to like dirtier armor, while others like shiny armor. I like shiny armor shows the blood better. :D
  7. Currently working on something similar to that but it has quite a bit of clipping issues and some parts of the armor are not showing up right. By this week there should be 3 or 4 more armors ready for publishing Looking forward to seeing them! I've already been watching the thread. :D And I don't mind giving ideas. Lol. I'll post em as I think of them. :D
  8. Posted this awhile ago when I tried to get into modding. Lol. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/814220-weaponsarmormodthanks/ There's like 2 examples there. http://imgur.com/ZvkDeg3 And another. You could even make another bigger version of the Witch Hunter and Lost Blade armors you have already. :)
  9. Honestly I've always been a heavy armor kinda guy. Nice and bulky are my loves for armor. But it's also gotta look decent. Seems most mods here do light and medium armor. If you're looking to make heavy armor as well I could always help try pitching ideas I had long ago when I tried to self teach myself how to make an armor mod. Lol. Sooo gave up on that when I had to reinstall windows. >.< But those armors look good either way! :)
  10. Hmm. Legend of the Eagles nest seems... Small and short. DwarvenHaven doesn't really say much about its self. Lol. Looks neat though don't get me wrong. First one you mentioned is better I think so far.
  11. You sir, are awesome. Those ideas would be amazing. Lol.
  12. Nchuzzrezar is a good one IMO. That one is basically exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks alot! If anyone has anymore do tell/share. :)
  13. Hello! This forum here is exactly what I was looking for. Lol. I was wondering if any of you nice peeps have heard of a mod that lets you clear out ruins, then slowly start building it up into say a fort or something. I like the ones they have now. Building your own home and all. But I like seeing something old and ruined turned into something awesome. Like an abandoned castle you pay to have repaired, build walls, repair buildings so blacksmith and the like can be hired. Asking alot I know, but it is passion. xD
  14. exactly but if OP does not know the difference then meh anyway, there are settlement building mods in the fallout games, about as close as I can think of that OP wants, what he is after is very niche. I do know the difference, thanks. And thanks for your input.
  15. Yeah. I own minecraft. Its kinda what I want honestly just no story. Its a pure survival game and also no server to play. Least no server that doesn't require me to spend real $$ every month to get access to everything. Civ 5 is a nice game, don't get me wrong but its purely real time strategy kinda game when I'm looking for more of an adventure minecraft type. Lol.
  16. Yeah. Was thinking more of a adventure game. Like gothic or Neverwinter.
  17. So I've been playing games for years now and I've yet to find a game that satisfies my wants. I'm looking to you players to help guild me to games maybe I've not heard of yet. The type of game I want is a game where you basically start out with nothing, found a city, build and upgrade that city and then wage war from that city. For example. Never-winter nights 2 Had a place where you built up a fortress by going out and finding material and bringing it back. The people build what you said, patrolled where you wanted them and so on. That was the closest I found. In Gothic 3, you stumble across an old cursed fort that is ran by undead. You go in, slay it all then can turn around and pay someone gold to upgrade it to start being used as a base. But that's as far as it goes. Any suggestions would be loved and greatly appreciated. I have also discovered another "god" game others might be interested in. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/22cans/project-godus is the link to it. Check it out.
  18. Lol. Maybe so. I hope its not though. But no. Large walls of text tend to discourage people. Just want to get the basics of my idea and request out there. :)
  19. That... Is actually a genius idea. xD I'll edit my post to reflect it. :)
  20. So I'd first like to start off by thanking everyone in the modding community. You all do an amazing job to enhance or completely better the games you mod for. Now down to why I'm posting. I currently decided I wanted to try modding out and as I take in medical terms and the like on a daily basis, my mind is slow to wrap around the skills needed to actually make a mod. I've watched tons of tutorials and tried to follow along as best I can. I fear however that by the time I can actually make it through the tutorials I'll be 90 years old. (Currently 26.) So what I'm here to ask is if someone with the technical know how and free time (precious free time) would be willing to help or do the heavy lifting needed to actually make a weapons/armor mod. I've gotten the permission from my original inspiration to do it and use the designs and such from his mod already. Thanks for taking the time to read this and future thanks for all those willing to help. :) So thanks to ghosu's recommendation, here is the symbol I wish to use. http://i48.tinypic.com/wm0chu.jpg Its the symbol Sjogga used in his mod Dawnspire (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20751). As I was more worried about learning the ropes before actually designing the armor I only know I want that symbol on a cloth, light and heavy armor set. As per Sjoggas request he wants it to be a dark themed mage armor. I'll post his request directly. "To be a bit more specific; a dark-colored armor, with blueish highlights (some glowing runes would be awesome as well). Preferably a simple hood instead of a massive helmet, to keep the set mage-themed. When a player looks at the set it should tell them that "this armor is meant for mages". Heavy or light doesn't really matter. " I myself am a heavy armor person. I love games like Dragon age where the armor is elegant yet bulky. http://i.imgur.com/SVxBn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WlmTs.jpg Are a few examples but not how I picture the armor its self of course. As for the light armor, I would leave that to the person who makes the mod to design how he'd like. :) Weapons - Sword For the sword I know I would like the handle and guard to be made of that symbol and of course blue like it is. As far as the blade, I'm not to sure yet. If the mod maker would like to add axes, maces, pole arms and the like, I'd not mind. I would however like to have my input on the designs he/she has made. Anything else you have questions for please do ask. New to this and always willing to provide what I can or help any way possible.
  21. Ok. So I installed all the mods correctly, per their instructions. Now, after the dragon attacks and you're in the tower, its heads suppose to burst through the wall, nothing happens. Yet he still tells me to jump. I can't jump with no hole in the wall. =\ I then tried to disable all the mods yet same thing. So I turn to you brothers and sisters in arms against bugs and glitches, to see if you have any flipping idea of what it might be.
  22. Here's the example I'm talking about. :) The SkyRe one. And I guess I am just sleepy cause it took me like, 90009745430753 read throughs of your post till it turned on a light in my head. Lol. Thank you very much for your reply and answer. Kudos to you! :)
