Granted, sadly it's a poison-apple flavored muffin.
I wish non-player characters could roundhouse kick.

I recently heard a rumor that vampires are real, and since i'm incapable of forming an independant thought i'm gonna go ahead and believe it.
Vampires are real... in Skyrim. :)

If it's any help, CyberPower is a great budget company. You might need to do some upgrading, but you can get a nice gaming pc for about $700. That's still a lot of money :( , but it's much better than spending $1500.
My $800 pc will be equivalent to about a $1500 alienware rig.
Careful though, they don't have the best customer service. Just a tip :)

No, the 'PG Skyrim with no gay people' thread is the stupidest ever. Mine takes second. :)
-
Let's put it this way; you should at least be able to make it look as good as whatever you ran FNV at, since Skyrim is better optimized. That's my guess anyway.

No, they bumped the arrow damage. However, ice arrows seem to have the ridiculous arrow perforations covered. :)
If you don't know what I'm talking about, check the tech support page.

Maybe this is related to the audio frequency bug that seems to be crashing people's games? There are a few threads on this forum about it if you want to check it out.

This is good to hear because I bought my GTX 460 just to play Skyrim. Though it's still boxed, it would really suck to have wasted so much time and money, and to have to put off playing Skyrim for another month.

I remember I was very, very scared of dying for a while (very scared, as in I lounged on the couch and didn't think anything had a point, while I simultaneously experienced mild panic attacks). Once I researched the biological processes and reasons, I stopped being scared.
I still don't want to die, but now it's because of what I would never be able to do, not so much from dying itself, and it's not so much of a fear. I've at least never had another panic attack about it.
Facing a spider is probably a bad idea, but reading a lot about them might help, maybe. Most fear does come from lack of knowledge. I'm no expert though, lol.

Also, what are the expected settings for an HD6770?
this is covered in the first post of this thread
No, it's not. I'll move to a more appropriate thread though.

Thanks. The guy is on this page for whoever wanted a citation, btw.

That's a relief to hear, but I'll still wait for more confirmation just in case :)

I recently heard a rumor that Nvidia cards such as my GTX 460 are planned to break in about three years. Is this true? It might not be too late to return my card, though I would almost certainly regret it, and I'd have to put off installing it and playing Skyrim. (also, I have a Galaxy model, does that have an impact?)
-
If there's an option, I probably wouldn't install to the HDD then. Not until it's patched at least.
The only thing I ever heard of a Hard Drive Install affecting was load times, but maybe with Skyrim's LOD there's a difference.
-
Have you tried running as an administrator?
Also, what folder are your files in?
-
I'm nearly certain that it's impossible to play a pc game without installing to HDD, and I highly doubt there will be texture glitches.
With a PS3 or 360, I'm not so sure, but I've never had any problems with installing to the Hard Drive on my PS3.
-
Wait, so is a GeForce 460GTX from Galaxy going to die on me in a few years?
Also, what are the expected settings for an HD6770?
-
I buy the hard copy. That way I get the map and the manual. (plus the install is like ten times faster)
-
On the bright side, with optimization and some low-poly mods, you will probably be able to get extra frames per second eventually. Look at ini tweaks.
-
If you'd have to play on low, the 360 is still probably the better way to play.
med-high or greater, the pc takes over, but on low, you may be better off on a console unless you really like mods.

Not only can I not get Skyrim at midnight, I have to buy a new PSU before I can play at all! WAAAAA!

Granted, but then the guards register everyone in the area as a sex offender.
I wish Horkers could be pets.
