  1. Hi. I initially made a post here. I've continued to do some research, watch tutorials, etc. I'm thinking that one way to get more information on how to create that mod would be to examine EFF.esp from the Unlimited Companion Framework. Of course I can open it in the Creation Kit, but I see no apparent way to see what differences exist from the base Fallout4.esm - a differential view of sorts. Esp files aren't text, so I'm wondering if there's some way to view the file that will allow me to see what is in it, apart from the original game content. How can I get a differential view? Any answers to my original post are also still welcome.
  2. Thanks! I've made my post there.
  3. I read through http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Papyrus_Introduction but it seems to be mostly Skyrim oriented, especially the Script_Objects page. Is there a similar reference for Fallout 4? I have a few other questions: Can a script be attached to an NPC at runtime? How can I enumerate the players current followers? How can I query the nav mesh? Can I dump all the properties, states, etc of a target for debugging and discovery purposes? What differences should I be aware of in FO4 as opposed to the documentation at creationkit.com?
  4. I've been playing through with the Unlimited Companion Framework and it's been a lot of fun having my own power armor clad army following me around. They're awful at group movement though. I'd like to try making a mod that fixes that, allowing formations and some other navigation tweaks. I'm brand new to Fallout 4 modding, but familiar with programming and modding in general. Mostly, I'm looking for feedback on feasibility, methodology, and reference materials to start digging in. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi. I've been playing Fallout 4 for a long time, and I love trying out cool mods and I've got some ideas that I think would be fun to make. Hoping to get some pro advice from you folks on how to get started with modding and learn some new things. I didn't see any forum specifically for authoring mods for Fallout 4, so if I missed one please share it. Any links to other popular resources are also appreciated. Cheers!
