Is it possible to extract face and body information from a save?

I deleted the .bak file and let the .tmp file stay in the folder, but when I launched skyrim it was still not in the load list. Thanks for the tip, though.

So i played on one of my saves last night and then saved it by name in the console as i allways do with all my saves and characters and quit the game. When I tried to access this save today it did NOT appear on the save game list at all! There is however a recent autosave with the character name to it. But whenever I try to load this autosave, it shows me the loading screen for an unlimited period of time without doing anything. I opened up my save games folder and I did actually find the latest version of the character save there! Both Charactername.ess.bak and charactername.ess.tmp. Just like all my other characters. However skyrim simply refuses to show these in the load menu. Typing " load charactername " in the console simply won't work either. Is there a way to get this save game to work again at all? Is there a tool? Someone or something that can look into the file itself and fix it?

Amen to that :/ Had to make a whole new character because of that, leaving my level 18 behind.

moarchars. I read that, but what do you have to do to an item in order to " tag it" as " group 1" or "group 2"? Do you just shout at it with Unrelenting force for it to become group 2 or...? It's not very clear in the post.

Do you know of any other similar spells or effects , potions, magic or shout or anything that you did before you got the glowing eyes? In most if not all cased of the glowing eyes bug, Aurora whisper shout has been involved. Me included. Just bumpin this thread.

I have this very same bug. It's damn annoying, It's pretty ugly and it breaks immersion for me. Is it really physically impossible to solve this issue by reaching into the files of the game and remove something / create some sort of workarround for it?? Fixes are coming up for things on Skyrimnexus, but nothing on this issue. Are people simply not bothering with trying to fix this? I'd love for someone to atleast have a look at it.. I and many others have this bug and I even had to create another character just to be able to bear playing skyrim. I know there's a patch coming out soon but I doubt they will adress this issue since there's " not enough people" with this issue for it to be noticed by betheasda most likely.

I don't own a house, but I intend to in the future and I DO want to place items wherever I like. I haven't really looked much into item placement in houses or seen much of it, but apparently item placement doesn't save when you drop an item, pick it up and place it somewhere? You seem like you know of a workarround this. Do you care to explain exactly what steps you must take in order to getting this to work the way you want to, then?

Me and several others have experienced getting big glowing blue eyes after using the Aurora whisper shout ( Detect life) . It lasts through absolutely everything, including reinstalling, reloading, dying, race changing, you name it. It's very intruding and very noticable. It can sometimes be seen through the back of the characters head in third person, and sometimes a few glimpses of it in first person. It also leaves a short nasty trail after it when you move quickly in third person. It's pretty immersion breaking, for me atleast. ( Yes yes, I know about typing sexchange twice in console will remove the glow, but since the glow reappears as soon as you merely change back/into first person / third person, It's hardly worth mentioning) And since It's no " big gamebreaking issue" I doubt betheasda will notice this little big issue and fix it anytime soon, leaving it to modders and the like. I was wondering if there's a chance that anyone here in the modding community could shed some light on this problem, tell me what's wrong here and hopefully how to fix it or make some kind of mod to help fix this problem.
