thnx for the tip but the issue was with the mod manager apparantly. im not sure if its fixed or not since im currently not using it im mostly using workshop mods right now and those all seem to work without to much problems but it would'nt be a bethesda game if it did'nt have a few bugs here and there now would it

dont look @ me im sticking to using the bethesda mods as long as the modmanager dont work right. the best thing u can do is just disable all ur managermods if that dont work try a cachecheck if the problems still there after that u might need to restart because ur savefile might be corrupted

nope no dice on the manual mods guys they just bring back the tab exit issue so im removing my pampas stuff and getting rid of the plugin to before it breaks my game again

@damanding: Yeah it was a manual install. so rather than changing the ini's i made to match the game generated one's i should have modified the game ini's to match the specs i was given in previous posts? That should be easy enough i just hope it will work Edit: it did'nt work and hé ive come to the conclusion that the modmanager is indeed broken and is in fact the main cause of my textures not working or showing up because after i disable'd all my f4 mods in the manager all of a sudden the pampas gear showed up in game again, i havent been able to try it jet do to my lack of resources/junk but im hoping it will work this time. So to make a long story short the change to the ini file's might have done the trick i just wanted to let u know that @ this point ive completely given up on the modmanager for now and i hope they fix it soon but its probably gonna take another 3 years or so because we got the same s*** with skyrim, it did'nt get good till its 5th year. So yeah im currently only using the bethesda mods @least until i know if my manual mods work or not, i hope they do.

@damanding: sorry im bëing such a pain in the ass about this its just that im dutch so english is in fact my second language but that's not the issue here the problems that i follow'd all the steps u guys gave me and my texture's still dont show now its not an install issue because i checked everything and the mod should be correctly installed sinse it shows up in the plugins txt so the only problem that i can see might be with my ini files and more spesically the one's the game generated because the one's i made where all acording to the specifications given to me but the game generated ini files seem to be different somehow so far ive only looked at the custom ini file and it seems to have 2 extra lines to it but im guessing the other ini files might have some differents's as well my question is do i go with the game generated ini files or with the manually made one's because there different and that's realy the root of the problem here. 2 sets of ini files but only 1 can be the right set, but witch 1? O and on the getting help comment: that's not gonna work because the whole programming thing did'nt get started till after 2000 there are relativly few people with the knowhow to do this stuff in my envirement, hell im a total noob at this but im probably the most knoledgable guy in my province when it come's to this stuff the dutch are a bit behind when it comes to internet use and complecated stuff like modding and such things. and in my case its more of an old dogs and new tricks thing as to point out my difficulty figuring this stuff out

witch brings me back to my early'r post is this correct or not i need to see other people's ini files to compare otherwise i wont know if there's something wrong with mine. i simply need to know if my ini files are settup correctly because that's realy the only thing that i can fink of that might be wrong with my game at this point

yep that's the 1 for some reason i just cant get it to work @damanding: i already try'd that but and i even checked my plugins txt file to see if it was there and it was but still the game wont recognize it for some reason that's why i was wondering if there could be a problem with my ini files because i got 2 sets of fallout 4 ini default ini and custom ini. 1 set in my documents folder that where generated by the game and 1 set in my steam/fallout4 folder that i made myself but the game generated ini files seem to have a few more line's to them so i dont know witch set is right can some1 show me what all the ini files are suppost to look like so i can compair

my custom ini file looks like this now [Display] iLocation X=0 iLocation Y=0 [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= is this correct if not please let me know also i checked out my fallout4 pluggins txt file to see if my pampas plugin was in there and it was but for some reason the game just is'nt pikking up on it

sorry no dice the game aint recognizing my pampas files, it does through the modmanager but then i dont have any texture's but if i do it manually i dont get anything at all the game just does'nt recognize my esp file even do i should have everything in the right folders now. the only thing i can do now is check on my ini file's to see if everything is set properly because there was some stuff on that in some earliër posts so im gonna try that and see if anything is wrong

oke so i just relocate the file's ive misplaced and that should solve the issue im gonna try it and let u know if it works or not

i try'd to manual download but instead of win rar im using 8zip lite and i got a material file a mesh file and a texture file and under that was an esp file so do i send all these to my data file or do i need to send them elsewhere? because putting everything in my newly made pampas file inside the data folder did'nt seem to work. im guessing im probably doing something wrong so some more help would be hot

yeah but i dont know where to download my file's to because i ussualy get some esm file's and some costume or armour/clothing file's and then there's some other stuff probably just txt files but i dont know i witch f4 folder to put them so if u guys could help me out with that, it would be awesome

im having the same issue's with my armour and clothing mods so i try'd a manual install but i dont know to what spesific file's i need to download all of this stuff, im Always having problems because of this. Its purely my own lack of knowhow about this but manual installs are just hard for me

i finally found the fallout4.ini file, it got put in some random folder somewhere because apparantly fallout4 does that stuff on occasion but now i gotta get my modmanager to recognize it somehow because its still saying i dont have it even do i put it into my fallout4 folder with my other ini files, also im still having the lockpicking issue so if any1 knows of some way to solve this please help a guy out? edit: Hé my problems fix'd, bethesda said it was just a resolution issue apparantly fallout4 has some problems with my resolution but as soon as i changed it my ini file got recognized by the mod manager and i even had good lockpicking again. Now if i could only get my clothing mods to work that would be hot
