alright, I can confirm two things: 1- it's a mod's fault, not in the original game. 2- for me the problem was with power armor overmodded edition mod, conflicting with Amazing items. read known issues and comments (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6216/?). also, everyone who had a similar bug has installed a mod that's related to modifying power armor in a way or another.

amazing items.esp it would seem to me that the problem is from this mod, as it's the only one i had on The current character that you're using as well, but up to now I'm still not sure!
