I haven't uninstalled it yet. Anyway I figured out that sanctuary actually does work as a fully functional settlement for me minus 2 things: 1: I can't dismiss companions to sanctuary(no big deal) 2: The happiness and population isn't displayed on the map. (also no big deal, I'll just dump em in red rocket.) If uninstalling it is going to corrupt my save then I'm going to just leave everything be, I've had it installed for 4 days and 19hrs of gameplay so if it hasn't messed anything up by now, it should be fine. Thanks for the help though.

Because your 3 plugins from the ceiling of the games load capacity? I can only offer an attempt to make a patch for that environment for you to try. If you wish? But with that many mods, it may be a futile attempt. Currently the issue is baked in but I can over ride baked in issues, not many here can. Yeah, It's most likely just because I have too many mods. Like I said it's no biggie, just been bugging me. Those were higher in my loader order before I made this post, I uninstalled everything relating to settlements when I was trying to find the problem on my own. If I had to guess which mod it is, and It's a blind guess (only thing I'm basing it on is the fact that the mod is now hidden "until it's fixed"), is "don't call me settler."

Loaded a save right after the quest that unlocks sanctuary as a settlement with no mods active, no luck.

Yeah, but I think I remember even early on it did this. I just ignored it thinking it was a temporary glitch that would probably fix itself on restart because I didn't care about building settlements at the time.

I disabled everything, but problem still persists. I think it might be glitched or something, but I won't scrap my 96 hour play-through just for sanctuary. No biggie I guess, just kinda sucks cause that's some prime real-estate.

Thanks, didn't even notice that. It didn't fix the problem unfortunately though. I also just tried resetting "when freedom calls" and completing it again with commands, also didn't work unfortunately.

Well, as luck would have it, a mod just got posted that might fix my problem. Probably not, but maybe. Edit: Nvm. It's just a save file.

An Obvious conundrum and a perplexing issue ? Post the load order ,"Not the mods kits installed" , just whats in the plugin.txt file for what ever tool is being used to install the mods. For map markers not to show up, you have a very bad mod installed. Well It has a map marker, but it just says sanctuary. It doesn't have the settlement info like "10 settlers 74% happiness" when I hover over it. I can still fast travel to it and it lets me access the workshop to build, assign the original crew to plants etc, but I can't send companions there or send provisioners. It also does not show up in the workshops tab that has all your settlements defense ratings and stuff in it. So like the title says, Sanctuary isn't showing up as a settlement. I can't send companions there, I can't send provisioners there and on the map it doesn't display happiness or population. Idk what mods might be causing the issue because none of them (as far as I know.) affect sanctuary. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue and if so, did you find a workaround or know a mod that caused it?

So it only happens in some areas of vaults or unerground/industrial areas (factories, mechanist's lair, etc.) but I'll look down a hallway and it'll be all peaches and cream, until i look behind me. Then the walls or floor will be see through, and I see into the grey space area outside of the cell and my fps drops from 60- 25ish, sometimes followed by a crash. If anyone has any suggestions or has any ideas that would be very helpful, as of now the game is playable, but those sequences where I am underground are painful.
