Yeah it is pretty crazy. Probably wouldn't have been as fun for the people who went out for a party and ended up in the middle of the Atlantic ocean :biggrin:

Hmm i just remembered something that use to happen that could make a good quest. Well a couple hundred years ago the navy would hang round fairs and pubs, kidnap unconscious drunk people throw them on a ship and then force them to work. Well maybe after getting drunk in the tavern you could black out and wake up on a pirate ship being forced into slave labor and well the quest would progress from there.

Do you mean like consumable scrolls that you find that level your skill up? or do you just mean a skill book re-skin?

Yeah i did think the factions would be hard to implement that way but never mind. It would be quite cool though to sail there and see some preacher just get stabbed for not shutting up.

Just use books that increase your spell level.

This looks preposterously useful. I hope you do it takes me ages to find the character I want.

I'm not sure if you can implement random events, however if you can then maybe things like seeing someone mugged or stabbed in the street, or even a holier than thou white knight showing up only to be quickly gutted by everyone. Also I think if you could play the game, so to speak by swapping between factions and pitting them against each other (Like "A fistful of dollars") eventually leading to you overthrowing everyone to gain power. This should be much harder to do though and if either faction finds out of your betrayal well, then you would have major problems.

If the idea of factions is part of it what would the mercenary's (assuming they're in it) be, or are they a minor faction?

It would be cool if unlike in normal Skyrim where npc's pretty much desert the streets at night, in this mod the place was always quite active at night. Also in place of actual law enforcement there could be thugs that would either extort you (pay bounty) or throw you down a mine shaft (equivalent of going to prison but you are in the bottom of a dungeon and have to try to climb back out). The thugs really wouldn't care about murder or stealing in general but only crimes against them specifically.

I just wanna point out that the dwemer have ascended and became the skin of the Numidium and therefore aren't ever coming back. The only dwemer that was not ascended was Yagrum Bagarn and iirc this is due to the fact he was messing round in oblivion at the time. I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool to learn more dwemer history but the fact of the matter is that the dwemer are gone.

New epic flying enemies/bosses such as griffin would be pretty cool, but I digress the idea of wandering down a road at night looking up and seeing something flying off in the distance, but not quite being able to make out what it was would make the world feel so much more alive.

even a bit of fur or cloth wrapped round your mouth would be cool. just anything to keep the cold away

its not a consol war cuz ps3 won the day it was released. xbox fan boys can say what they want but until they get free online/blu ray 1080p graphics in game, they have nothing to talk about. they pay to play online the same games i can for free, cept i also can play it in 1080, vs they can only play it in 720. @o they are paying to play the same games online with worse graphics. its like saying diablo3 is free to play but diablo1 requires subsription... free f***in simple to decide the winner... i wont even get into the 10's of millions of red ring xboxs cuz its not needed in the argument cuz ps3 already won at release. blueray player you say? http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/lg-sues-sony-of-playstation-3-blu-ray-drive/
