Just what I was looking for. :P

Do want. I'm trying to make my melee theif branch into the magic schools at level 45 so I have more of an edge in open combat that doesnt let me re-stealth, and it's a mission to train destruction on leveled enemies seeing as my spells hit for very little.

A gladiator theme, eh? I'll start scribbling down some ideas later. People seem to like my ideas quite a bit. I can also provide some voice acting if you wish. Not much experience but i'm Australian... :D

LE Strip Club/ Bar w/ sidequests viable or not? Need opinions
Etemnatus replied to saltricks's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I was originally going to reply with "Go get a girlfriend" upon opening this thread but then I saw you actually added some decent thought to it. I'd suggest you make entry to the bar a difficult thing to obtain. Unless you are the persuasive type. Make a quest for those with high speech who originally intend to run the place or infiltrate it and end the operation at the request of the locals. I'd suggest Solitude. Windhelm already had a problem with grizzly murders and desecrated corpses. a second case would just create confusion with the original vanilla quest. Also, the owner being a graverobber doesn't have much to do with running a strip joint... I'd also suggest you change the original idea from "Strip Joint" to "Brothel". Strip joints don't really.... Fit the culture in the game. -
I'd wondered that, too. Her character has a certain depth which others lack.

Should be alteration. Not illusion. Illusion is spells that affect the minds of others. Teleportation warps the fabric of reality to shift your place in the universe.

Thanks. Yeah I see what you mean in regards to the leaping idea. Just make sure they aren't too squishy :P. I recently discovered I can 3 shot Dwemer Master Centurions with arrows which kinda made me think: "Oh.... okay then... that was disappointing...". Another idea would be massive boulder like tails to balance them out if they are front heavy. I'm also thinking they could break into a sprint after running for a while, in which they prop themselves up onto only their back legs to chase you down if you try to run.

My suggestion would be to give him underdeveloped wings that he uses as forearms from years of evolution from walking on land and being flightless. Maybe have some left over restraints on his 'wing arms' that imply the race was forced to inhabit land. Edit: Thinking ahead. They'd need to be fast on their approach so that the fight doesn't open up with an archer class 2 shotting them before they get close enough to attack. Give them a massive leaping or bounding sprint ability. Fellow Australian here, as well. :)

That's cool. I was just throwing some ideas out there. :)

I find it's more fun to make up your own quickest route to a destination using your map experience, knowledge of the area or just dumb luck. Even if you screw up and take the long route there's always the fun in having your own little adventure inside an adventure. Better than just following a line on your map straight to a destination. That kind of thinking leads to games becoming too 'straight forward', no thinking and idiot proof thus boring.

Good idea. I always wondered where I was pulling that extra dagger or axe from... Was going to request a similar mod once the CK came out.

Nice. I especially like the 'God of Destruction' one. I prefer the whole tribal war drums thing though. It's impossible to find the Stealth Drum music they did for Mark of Kri. Otherwise I'd have the best music soundtrack for Skyrim and the normal combat music in MoK would fit really well into normal combat on Skyrim, as well. Especially when fighting Forsworn :P If I ever locate good quality versions of the soundtrack I'll have to try and ask someone to change their format and crap, or learn to do it myself :P

Ah so I was on the right track haha. Success! Just downed an elder dragon to this music. Was sick. Thanks heaps.

I love you. If I may ask 1 last annoyance? How do I go about making these work? What do I do with the files? I'm a bit of a noob.

Do want. How about having a handful of dragons that, once their souls are absorbed, grant you access to very powerful, unique and oh-so-fun shouts / powers. Something along the lines of those specific dragons being aspects of certain elements that you are requested to gather and harness their powers inside yourself. So you can later release them (unwittingly) into a 'well of sorts' to 'birth' an evil god of death that escapes. And you, being the creator of this abomination are sent to destroy it, enslave it or absorb it (depending on whether your character is good or bad) granting you power or fame. I do enjoy creating. Edit: The reason these specific dragons are 'cursed' with the powers of the 'death god' is because long ago during the dragon reign of terror. The dragons discovered this god and feared it's power so they managed to subdue it and 'split' it's different aspects into the souls of their strongest dragons (Maybe Paarthurnax?) and these dragons went into hiding so that the death god may never be released on the world. This is just something im rattling off the top of my head. Feel free to jump in.

You're probably right. Shame it's so difficult to change the music files your self with Skyrim.

Does anyone have the resources and time to change the Dragon Encounter music to this: ?? I would be very grateful. Mark of Kri is a game that provides me with massive nostalgia and my character is based around that games playstyle. I feel that music would be more fitting for an epic encounter. That and I'm bored of the vanilla dragon encounter music.

Two plot points that confuse/bug me

I enjoyed DB. It was a change of pace from the "Slay evil things and help the less fortunate" That I found a bit tacky after the 3rd-4th time. The satisfaction you get from eliminating a target in the appropriate, specified manner was great. A quest that continued on from killing Lucian would have been great. Considering the betrayer in the Black Hand would've been grateful of you dispatching him and likely asked for your help destroying the rest of the Brotherhood. Though, the betrayer guy was completely crazy, so he could've turned on you or tried to set you up to die or get arrested in the end and you could have eliminated him as well and started your own assassin's guild for some reason or another.
