Very new to modding any game, and only by 2 days with NV...so bear with me if I am missing something very important or obvious. PC: 2500k @ 4.5GHz ( can go a little higher if needed ) Crossfire 6970s @ 920/1400 8GB of 1600MHz Ram CL7 P67 Pro AX850 PSU On a RAID 0 or four 7200rpm HDDs. Problem : Crossfire doesn't seem to make a difference ( I will check later if second card is working at all ) and my fps are down into the teens. I have added a few mods such as : Nevada Skies & FNVEnhancedShaders & Depth of view ( + more perks, weapon mod expansion and MAD BUT my performance is the same with those on and off) Does this sound right? Am I overloading the pc by a few texture/environment mods?

Can't for the life of me find a guide as all mods seem to have a different approach. Also, many mods need mods that need more mods to work, creating a exponential amount of work, all have very basic instructions that leave what the author would think was obvious but to a new user to nexus and all modding for fallout I am at a loss. I would like to get ANY mod to work but I cant get anyone of them to not crash when loading my game. Tried ED-E sounds, weapons, Dimonized skins, mods pack...all crash, seem to have something very basic missing from instructions missing. Can someone show me a Very simple easy to understand mod that I can begin with to see what I am doing wrong?

I need help with a mod...but I am not allowed to start a topic ( Stupid ) so I have no way of asking for help. I have installed a few mods but don't know if they are "Working" or not, its Dimonized Type3. I got that installed but it says I need TYPE3 V2 TEXTURES....which doesn't exist on the internet so I guess I can't use it? Is there a link ANYWHERE? Please help, new to forum, new to modding.
