So a mod I want to use but have had trouble with CTD's has a FO4Edit video tutorial and the author makes a point of talking about the load order with scripted mods being critical to avoid corruption and bloat. Google has failed me, so in FO4Edit what am I looking for to determine if a mod has scripting so I can group them together.

Seems hit or miss, keeps putting Armorsmith near the top which creates conflicts, however it fixed some settler conflicts I didn't realize were there (changing the load order slightly resulted in more variety

So due do a couple changes in one of my FAVORITE mods, "Raider Overhaul" I had to learn how to use FO4Edit and create a merged patch... I had been avoiding this, because I knew it would be an irresistible "rabbit-hole" and now I've been going through and making patches for my mods and updating the records to avoid conflicts and hopefully smooth out my game.. I'm stuck in one spot... Legendary Modification. This + 2LM is one of my favorite things and I'm trying to figure out how to update it / create a patch. -When I try to select it, and another mod to create a Merged patch 2LM records never copy in -When I try to edit 2LM files directly and add lines I get an error regarding 2LM does not contain those records. W/ other mods I've been able to then import the records but 2LM is not letting me. Pointing me in the correct direction would be exceptional as I feel like I'm missing something simple. Thanks. FO4Edit 3.1.3 Alternatively if someone could explain how to import into CK and do the same thing I would love to learn that, google failed me when trying to find that.

Crash when loading any save from main menu
Thirdstorm replied to JSmoove277's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
had the same issue, ended up being Homemaker & SnapnBuild This fix worked for me: Fallout 4 CTD when loading safe with Homemaker/Snap N. Build (Possible Fix) Ok, so Since the last 3 non-Beta pushes I’ve been crashing when loading saves, and after ruling out my other 130 other mods it’s linked to Homemaker and/or Snap N/ Build. Using GoogleFu I came across a couple fixes for previous updates and none worked, but it lead to some solid core info to experiment with. The following has worked for me, and I’ve tested it with 3 different saves 2 times each to make sure it works. Go to your saves folder, find your most recent two saves. Copy the filename, but without including the “.fos” and past them into a text document. Load your Mod manager, record the order of the mods (you can export that with NMM). Removed Homemaker (and Its plugins), Snap N. Build (and Its plugins), and Settlement Keywords. Start Fallout 4 and Load your most recent save. Save your game (not quicksave or auto, full save) Exit FO4 Load your Mod manager and add back Homemaker (and Its plugins), Snap N. Build (and Its plugins), and Settlement Keywords w/ patches. Fix the order to what it was @ step 3 Load Fallout 4 Open your most recent save (To be clear the one WITHOUT Homemaker) Open the console and use the following command Load “SaveXXX_XX_XXX_Commonwealth_XXX_XXX_XX” The exact name would be the save filename from Step #1 Wait for the save to load, for me it took longer than normal, but worked. Once loaded Save a fresh full save. Travel to a settlement and make sure All SnB & homemaker items are still intact, check Build menus to make sure items are there. Exit FO4 Start FO4 and make sure the new clean save loads. Rejoice! -

My sanc did not have this, but Fort Haegen Sat array had zero textures, so it's linked somehow to the updates and a texture "fix"

CTD - "FO4 Has Stopped Working" after fresh install
Thirdstorm replied to Thirdstorm's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
If I load a save with both Snap and Build and Homemaker removed, save, exit re-enable both and load it does not crash but I loose days of settlement building.. -
Following the forced updates on Wednesday and Thursday that bugged out pulling off the strings data I opted for a clean install. My mistake. After a fresh install of FO4, NMM and each mod one by one I am Crashing to desktop w/ Snap N Build and / or Homemaker installed. Disable the mods game loads. Rolled forward and back versions of both. Tried SK and non-SK versions (of course removing the listed patches) Non-Beta Tried automatic and manual installs No dice. -Verified Game Cache -Disabled all Mods -Rebooted PC -Verified Video Drivers Base Specs: i7-3770K 32gb RAM SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 TI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 GameMode=Fallout4 Fallout4.esm=1 DLCRobot.esm=1 Homemaker.esm=1 SettlementKeywords.esm=1 DLCworkshop01.esm=1 ArmorKeywords.esm=1 SpringCleaning.esm=1 Snap'n Build.esm=1 CROSS_CosmeticFramework.esm=1 Snap'n Build - Greenhouse.esp=1 Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp=1 WastelandWorkshopPatch.esp=1 Merchants stick with store - Regular settlers.esp=1 Merchants stick with store - Unique Settlers.esp=1 Merchants stick with store - More unique settlers are essential.esp=1 BetterWeaponModDescriptions.esp=1 Homemaker - Streetlights Use Passive Power.esp=1 Homemaker - Unlocked Institute Objects SK.esp=1 OCDispenser.esp=1 OCDecorator.esp=1 Simple Intersection.esp=1 LegendaryModification.esp=1 SC_ExpandedScrapList.esp=1 ScrapDeadThings.esp=1 Workshop_Planters.esp=1 DD_1x1_Foundation_Blocks.esp=1 Movable Power Armor.esp=1 SettlersRename.esp=1 BetterSettlers.esp=1 MoBettaScrap.esp=1 Lore Friendly Posters.esp=1 UNnaked Power Armor.esp=1 No Aggro Impact Landing.esp=1 Balanced Fusion Core Drain.esp=1 Weaponry Overhaul.esp=1 BetterWeaponModDescriptionsWBO.esp=1 BetterArmorModDescriptions.esp=1 DV-No Levelled Vertibirds.esp=1 DV-Very Durable Vertibirds.esp=1 BrighterSettlementLights.esp=1 LongerHeadlampLight.esp=1 Craftable Armor Size.esp=1 Crafting Workbench.esp=1 Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armour.esp=1 More Power Armour Mods.esp=1 More Power Armour Mods - Automatron.esp=1 MPPA - More Powerful Power Armor.esp=1 SkjAlert_DLC01+.esp=1 SkjAlert_RS+.esp=1 NoSettlementAttacks.esp=1 Clear Water Default Radiation.esp=1 DependencyQuestFix.esp=1 BossChestsHaveLegendaries.esp=1 SignsOfTheTimesPosters.esp=1 Snap'n Build - Patches.esp=1 Unlimited Bounties.esp=1 Recruitable NPC Dialogue Fixes.esp=1 Arbitration - Survival Damage by Player 1x.esp=1 Arbitration - Survival Damage to Player 6x.esp=1 Arbitration - Better Combat AI.esp=1 Arbitration - Reduced Grenade Spam.esp=1 Arbitration - Farther Grenade Detection.esp=1 Arbitration - Molotov.esp=1 MechanistsLair_fix_only.esp=1 Targeting HUD Berry Mentats Fix.esp=1 CTHColoredFriendliesSneakingAndOrWeaponDrawn.esp=1 Hard Legendary Giant Creatures.esp=1 Respawnable Legendary Bosses.esp=1 Eli_NukaStuff.esp=1 168Hours-respawn.esp=0 3Hours-respawn.esp=0 6Hours-respawn.esp=0 9Hours-respawn.esp=0 12Hours-respawn.esp=0 24Hours-respawn.esp=0 48Hours-respawn.esp=1 72Hours-respawn.esp=0 96Hours-respawn.esp=0 120Hours-respawn.esp=0 144Hours-respawn.esp=0 Big Alien Bunker.esp=1 Eli_DLC Paintings.esp=1 ABP Paintings.esp=1 ABP Paintings - Sets =01=02=50=P.esp=1 Kellogg-sama.esp=1 OutfitSwitcher.esp=1 AnS Wearable Backpacks and Pouches.esp=1 Lots More Male Hairstyles.esp=1 Lots More Female Hairstyles.esp=1 CBBE.esp=1 AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp=1 KSHairdos.esp=1 LovingPiper-TrueReporterSE.esp=1 AGCP Cait Makeover.esp=1 AGCP Curie Makeover.esp=1 MeetTheNewRaiderettes-NR.esp=1 MeetTheNewRaiderettes-NR - Automatron.esp=1 Lots More Facial Hair.esp=1 Beautiful Female Settlers v. 2.0 - BS Compatible - VMSR - NGR.esp=1 BetterSettlersNoLollygagging.esp=1 BetterSettlersCleanFacePack.esp=1 RaiderOverhaul.esp=1 Armorsmith Extended.esp=1 LagrieHelmet.esp=1 Scavvers of the Commonwealth.esp=1 Raider Overhaul - AE Patch.esp=1 Armorsmith Automatron.esp=1 X1_BOS.esp=1 Railroad Brown.esp=1 MMP4APA.esp=1 IP4APA.esp=1 TrueReporter.esp=1 The Rebel.esp=1 CROSS_Gear.esp=1 CROSS_Uni_Scarf.esp=1 CROSS_Uni_Headset.esp=1 Craftable Armor Size - Fix Material Requirements.esp=1 AnS Wearable Backpacks and Pouches - AWKCR.esp=1 AnS Wearable Backpacks and Pouches - Ballistic Weave.esp=1 Hoodless Scribe Hat.esp=1 AGCP Piper Makeover.esp=0 Eli_Crafting Shiz 9000.esp=1 RaiderArmorBuffAWCKR.esp=1 AE Lagrie Helmets - Raider Overhaul Leveled List Patch.esp=1 AE Lagrie Helmets - Raider Overhaul - Commonwealth Scavvers Leveled List Patch.esp=1 Eli_AlecusRogueHD.esp=1 Better Cage.esp=1 CivilDefensePosters.esp=1 T60SkullGorilla.esp=1 DD_Best_Mod_EVAAAAAAAAAAAAH.esp=1 Immersive Halloween Special.esp=1 SuperMutantOverhaul.esp=1 BetterWeaponModDescriptionsLMSurvival.esp=1 LegendaryModification2LM.esp=1 BetterWeaponModDescriptionsLM2LMSurvival.esp=1 LegendaryMod2LMWeaponryOverhaul.esp=1 LegendaryModification2LMAKPatch.esp=1 LegendaryModificationMisc.esp=1 BetterWeaponModDescriptionsLMMiscSurvival.esp=1 LegendaryModificationGroknak.esp=1 Super Mutant Raider Overhaul Patch.esp=1

Are you in the beta? (stars infront of plugins) having a CTD after a fresh load, but seems linked to Homemaker and Snap n. Build after disabling everying and enabling one at a time.
-
Having same issue after a fresh load. Try disabling Homemaker and or Snap N. Build. Game will load, I can't play without loading my settlements but thats where the issue seems to be for me (and a bunch of others posting on the Homemaker page)

FO4 CTD After 04/20/16 Steam Update
Thirdstorm replied to Thirdstorm's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
There's also the issue where you have to alter your plugins list to put stars in front of all the mods now apparently. Stars infront of the mods? have a link because Google is not giving me results. (for non-beta I mean) -

Survival is not out of Beta game is crashing before load screen. -
-Verified Game Cache -Disabled all Mods -Rebooted PC -Verified Video Drivers Base Specs: i7-3770K 32gb RAM SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 TI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 I have a partial fix, however it's extremely slow to load. After Deleting and rebuild the .Ini Files Fallout4.ini (Include the following) sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ (even though current NMM build suggests not including them) Fallout4Custom.ini NOTHING ADDED will run. NADA FalloutPrefs, ini bEnableFileSelection=1 Any suggestions??
