I'm wondering this, since I've been having a particular issue with a certain mod. It's not from this site, but so far it's been the only mod giving me issues.

Going to bump this topic since it's been nearly two days since I posted and I'm hoping someone has an idea on what to do. Because I sure don't.

So I decided to try and run New Vegas in windowed mode to test out the Fake Fullscreen mod. 4GB doesn't like that, apparently. So I decided to go back to full screen mode, opened up NVSE so the 4GB patch could detect it, and opened the 4GB launcher again. But now, it just opens up the main launcher and wont open NVSE like it's supposed to. This is irritating because One; It puts New Vegas in read only mode, and Two; It forces me to rewrite the font settings in the ini for Darnified over and over again every time it forgets how to run NVSE.

So I'm uninstalling PN to use Optics of New Vegas, which sadly is not compatible with it. From what I can tell, the author apparently never considered the possibility of someone uninstalling the mod, so they never gave uninstall instructions on the page or ReadMe. I uninstalled the mod and all its components, ran the Unified HUD Project and MCM mods to make sure nothing remains of it in the files, but I'm still getting startup CTDs. Do I need to go deeper and start deleting stuff from the data files?

So I'm wanting to change the position of the compass on the HUD Status Bars mod. I'm using the standard Darnified compass and was wondering if I could move it up to the top of the screen. If so, which settings on the HUD Status Bars base ini do I change to do so? If I can't do that, how do I change the position of the OblivionXP HUD and time of month HUDs to a different part of the screen? Main reason why I want to change this up is because both the time of month and OblivionXP HUDs share the same position of the Darnified compass by default, which is the lower center portion of the screen.

Sadly, fresh install did not do the trick. I haven't used Deadly Reflexes, wanted to but it seemed like there were too many issues with some of the mods required to run it, or any of the older versions of UV.

To reiterate, I do have one skeleton mod, but that's Coronerra's Maximum Skeleton mod, which is a necessity for this mod. I'd also like to point out that I do have the proper Oblivion patch, NifSE is in OBSE's plugin folder. I've also noticed there's a lack of an .ini file for this mod. Either that or I'm just not finding it.

So I had a pretty emotional thing happen while I was doing the Cold Flame of Agnon quest. I have the David Orr music pack mod and one of the dungeon themes is called "Betrayal", and no it's not that kind of moment. What happened the moment Aurmazl Kaneh performed her sacrifice, the most emotional part of the song started to play as the flames started to light within the hall of despair. It was a touchingly coincidental moment that couldn't have been timed any better.

There's not a single scratch on the disc. And I've tested numerous other discs in the drive and they still read properly.

I cannot. I can't plug my phone into the computer because my phone's charger dock is broken. But to put it simply, my computer's drive won't even acknowledge the disc's existence.

I have the Anthology collection. But again, without internet, I can't use the Steam key. Also, my drive can read every other disc I put into it. Oblivion is the only exception.

I'm a hundred percent sure this has been posted numerous times but I figured I'd post it myself. Three days ago, my computer just up and decided it wasn't going to read my Oblivion disc anymore, despite reading it perfectly fine prior to that. I've tried just about everything I could think of to get it to read. I can't port it to Steam because my modem decided to commit suicide, so I've got no internet for the foreseeable future.

So I been having crashing issues with the mod Unnecessary Violence III. The main offenders is trying to switch the grip position of a weapon. If I switch a single hand weapon's grip to two hand, then back to one hand, the game crashes. Similarly, if I switch a sword from the right hand to the left, it also crashes. Those are the only two things I've encountered so far, and knowing my luck I'll find so mmuch more that will cause the game to crash. I've got OBSE and NifSE installed, I've got no custom skeletons or animation replacers installed, so my back's against a wall right now.

So I recently got the Legendary Edition of Skyrim from the Anthology Collection and I was wondering. I already have the normal version of Skyrim installed onto my computer, so should I disable all my mods before performing the reinstall?
