You will be able to run the game fine. The game is consolefied to hell so don't expect it to have ball breaking specs or anything. I just tell people that if they can play battlefield 3 ok then they will probably be able to play skyrim without a doubt.

Had my last moments is oblivion a while back. It just got far too tedious with all the mods I had and so I gave up. Still need to complete new vegas when I can be bothered to do so.
