Yeah people like the gun sure but the reason it's in FNV... is because someone wanted to make it? I doubt many people asked MTindle to make it, if not one person he made it because he wanted to and wanted to share it with the community. Not all mods are made because mass amounts of people ask for it like they're begging the devs to add it or something, and the animations would be janky as hell considering we don't have any first person animation tools yet, we have third person now as an unofficial tool but still nothing on first person, once the devs hopefully give us full official animation tools after Nuka World Millenia might be able to make one if people ask him, but he's probably got his own ideas but his weapons will absolutely need their own animations at this point with FO4's animation setup, which will lead to more weapons having better animations because if individual weapons being added can have their own specific animations instead of sharing animations with other weapons. There's a reason nobody's put an asshauling amount of work into weapon mods of any sort of high complexity is simple: we don't have proper ways of animating any of them, some people don't want to make a weapon, put it out, animation tools come out, then redo the entire thing to fix it all, since if you want models to work you need to modify them and break them almost sometimes just to get the animations and hand positions to work out, like with the M2216, it has this weird... handle thing that goes from the charging handle so the cocking animation fits and almost any weapon mod you see to keep the model as pure as can be some people will chuck a "grip" of sorts onto it to match up with the hand. Just give the devs time to release Nuka World for us to hopefully throw us the reigns so we can make more stuff of higher complexity since after nuka world and a few patches the game will probably stabalize out (maybe add a weapon expansion or something like GRA from NV or something) TL;DR Let Nuka World come out so we can hopefully get official animation tools and all so modders can release better weapon mods with their own animations, not all modders want to go back to a mod and fix it to have new animations, millenia is certainly waiting for animation tools so his models can be properly respected instead of bastardized with modifications to fit Beth's current anims.

Well we don't have any first person animation tools (yet) and why not the Fallout 1 P90? it was in there and I'm pretty sure in Fallout 2 as well.

so nice to see you commenting on here, I do love your work! hope all your new weapon mods get done soon, especially that 1887 and the other guns like that revolver you're using the laser pistol's anims for. I really hope that Nuka World will give us a pump-action, or there's still hope yet that after they release nuka world they'll release some sort of official animation thing, because they did say after nuka world modding was really going to take off, so hopefully we'll get way more guns, animations, and other cool s#*! too. Hopefully more or less a better animation and mod tool.

I'd love to see a desert mod, retexturing (and even remodeling some stuff) to turn the commonwealth into a much more appealing desert (we already have NCR Ranger armor and now recently I've discovered the 10mm Revolver Colt mod on bethesda.net) I'd love the land to be more like the original fallout games, and new vegas, I'm not sure why it would just feel a bit more visually appealing to me and probably many more. -
pistol animations question

All weapon mods (for now) must be modified to fit the animation if you don't want clipping. Now if it fits the hands and animations, great. -

Well, the abomination AR I'm just going to get a replacer model like I did for the 10mm pistol which I just feel is too... clunky as f*#@. I don't know how you get usefulness out of the break action because whenever I try to use it now it's pretty much a VATS only weapon. Honestly I wish NV would have gotten a remaster over skyrim, the last bethesda game that was made, and after seeing Obsidian's new project, it looks like an isometric RPG and just in general doesn't seem... too appealing, I see an in-person game of D&D to be more fun than that. I was so excited at the lever action in Far Harbor only to see how limited it was, and the fact that it was only .45-70 GOVT instead of a shotgun that would have been far more practical against the mutants of Far Harbor, the problem I find most of the time is the fact that the weapons are just too underpowered for you, in New Vegas you could blow enemies away with a shotgun and the GRA slugs, have flooded the game with good lore-friendly Millenia weapons, and gun fights would be fun because I wouldn't feel like I'm in an uphill battle against my opponent, unless said opponent is a 10' or so tall mutant lizard or a giant supermutant, radscorpions are practically minibosses in FO4 compared to the minor nuisance they were in NV.

Oh believe me, I would love for that one to be in the game, I loved using the hell out of it when Millenia made it and I used the GRA shotgun ammo-types (now if only someone could make a much better version of the ammo types aside from the iffy and quite mediocre one we have right now)

Looking for an anti enemy bullet sponge mod

Wish they'd have taken some notes from NV with weapons, make combat a bit forgiving for you in normal difficulty and still let you kill enemies without expending ridiculous amounts of bullets into them, unless it was a Deathclaw (although Cazadores were BS as hell) but humans were something you simply just took a shotgun and wiped out almost immediately because they're just that, humans. Not mutated roaches, not mutated lizards that outsize a f*#@ing minivan, they're just humans and shouldn't be able to take a lot of bullets unless they're in PA. -
Well obviously I'm talking about the kind of Tropical mod Skyrim had, it made the game just feel... different, I know there's the weather overhauling mods that bring winter's snow and all the other lovely seasons, but I'm talking about just completely overhauling the Commonwealth's environment into a different type of area, someone's suggested desert in a Great Kahns suggestion, but really I'd love to see the wasteland turned into just... desert, maybe add some more beaches to the coastline and stuff, the swampy areas turned into an oasis scattered place, it would certainly make sense for the plethora of skimpy and less "covering" clothing to make sense in the game as well considering it's an (otherwise) nippy October/November/December times. Now I'm not one of the people who thinks the game should just be all desert-like and dead because "nuke war" but because I want the land to be changed into an entirely different kind of place, if it were actually 200+ years later in FO4 then there would be a helluva lot of plantlife because of the way secondary succession works and the fact that there's little to no radiation almost everywhere, plantlife would as sure as hell be making a comeback and we do have some pretty mods that are turning the commonwealth into a plant-covered jungle almost, which is good and fits a bit more because nobody's taking care of the city anymore. I really hope some talented modder(s) can bring the desert/tropics to the Commonwealth and make it just a different life and location, obviously it'd be an overhaul piece with most likely retexturing numerous creatures to blend a bit more into the land (like the wild dogs and a few other things probably) retexturing the lands, and giving the place just a bit more of a "desert" feel to it.

Honestly when I ventured out there myself with no real aim, I discovered the huge pyramids back there and thought "woah! stuff possibly related to aliens that's been uncovered by nuclear explosions?!" and then was sorely disappointed one of the coolest looking places out there was just nothing but a quest location for the BOS later, IF you bothered to go with them.

Now I understand there are probably a million and one request for pump actions of any kind really, I'm just hoping someone will be able to possibly deliver onto that at all, I really do, I understand a certain level of animation will have to go into it and all but since all the weapons have their own specific animations, it's a little bleak to me. Possibly and hopefully, every single quality weapon that gets made can have it's own unique animations, now obviously there won't be many that do at all, but hey, I'd love to see really high quality weapons getting their own animations and all, especially when Millenia starts releasing his mods too that he'll be able to have someone make animations for his weapons to give them that greatness, now if only we could have his weapons replace all the base-game guns :rolleyes: Oh well, I hope someone can agree with me out there (I don't come here often!)

Well you're right, they do have the right to be up there the same as any other mod but really, it's just a drought of good mods right now is all, my mind just can't fathom of why the hell some useless armor mod like bondage rope is one of the top items on the list, now if it's a bodytype or a good armor (look at the Deathclaw Hunter armor, it's CBBE female only, but it takes skimpy and it makes it look good with that skimpy type) I can understand but sometimes some mods I just can't fathom the popularity aside from jerkoff material sometimes, I like some skimpy armors but only if they make it look good like the Deathclaw Hunter armor.- 7 replies

Honestly I'm getting bored checking the nexus to only see skimpy armor mods and nude mods, people who like those and want them can go digging for them themselves, I'd much rather see well done and thought out mods hitting the front page and get the recognition they deserve, I also wish the "Most Endorsed files in the last two weeks" would be the top mods that have been endorsed in the past two weeks, that were, say, released in said past two weeks or something, not mods that are always going to be there, and the ones there are stuff like AWKCR, CBBE, Armorsmith Extended and other mods that almost everyone has at this point. Now of course they'll be in the Most Endorsed of All-Time still because they're staple points in modding. I have to dig around for any mod that is even possibly interesting and newer, it's tragic to see so many mods get drowned out by a popular skimpy armor/clothing mod that people who like to hoard skimpy mods can go and just simply look exclusively for them and get many good results, it's hard to find many good mods out there right now, granted the nexus is in a certain flood of mods of many different qualities. I just hope there will be some sort of regulation on certain mods to keep the front page to show more interesting mods rather than... bondage rope??? seriously, that one was up there for a little while too, I just don't get it, I know a lot of FO4 modders can be pervs but really, unless there's some sort of stripclub hidden in the game like from FNV then I simply don't understand why there are so many gaining popularity when it's you and your companions that can equip them. Guess this could be considered a rant or a reasonable thought that some other people are thinking about but hey, whoever wants to talk about it or anyone who might have a say in the website can help it'd be greatly appreciated, especially with the whole "Most Endorsed In The Past Two Weeks" thing pretty much just saying the same thing as any other timeline for it.

I have an idea for a mod that I thought up of when I saw the Satellite World Map mod that had the entire map in your pip-boy coloration you chose for your pip-boy, so I got the idea "Why not have the entire pipboy be in color?" so I really hope someone can work their magic with it to make the pipboy be in full color, it'd be absolutely amazing, and maybe making a compatibility patch for Satellite World Map (unless the texture for the map would change to fit it so... I'm not sure how this sh*t work sometimes! I think it would be just a texture change) And maybe include a (jokingly) Gameboy Color reference with the actual pipboy itself as an optional texture (since many use the black pipboy or the 4K pipboy retexture and would probably love to have fully colored pipboy screens and all that) So I really hope someone can help!

I want a smoking mod as well, but something more akin to actually, you know, smoking on the go in an apocalypse, having the cigarette in your mouth and lit as you walk, and even cigars possibly to look even more great, since the Rad-Bans are in the game to it'd be a perfect sniper setup

And hell, if it's NOT a mod problem, I wonder if someone could make a mod to fix it probably, I don't have unlimited data where I live (Charter is possibly coming through, f*#@ satellite internet for the fake s#*! it is) I use a mobile hotspot which works very well, but I only have 50 gigs in a cycle, so reinstalling Fallout 4 isn't really an option for me. Hope someone can help.

Robots have (upon recent) become invisible for me, now loading an ancient save I downloaded of John Cena I CAN see codsworth and all, but as of recent with another character that could see codsworth but not other newer robots and Curie (basically any robot I've previously seen could be seen but any that I haven't come across yet are invisible, but existent, can only melee) I know this issue has happened before but I didn't have the mod in question that was apparently causing the issue. I have no clue on how to get my mod load order list at all (seriously, you think googling it would help) I use NMM as well, I only recently discovered this was a problem when I made a new character (for a Railroad run, made a couple of freaks just to see how disfigured I could make Shaun's face)... I couldn't see Codsworth, oh well, maybe it's JUST the Mr Handy/Miss Nanny NPCs, nope, went to some other electronics warehouse where there were Mr Gutsys, Handys, and protectrons, all of which were invisible. If someone could help me find out how to find the txt containing my load order (since I have too many mods for me to really bother typing down, not without taking a good chunk of time) and help me find out WHICH mod is causing this game breaking bug to occur, please help.
