im talking about in game items with crazy high damage.

Recently I've seen weapons with crazy high damage and guns that no longer require ammo that have x4 poison or freeze and such. So I'm wondering if this is done through normal file editing like most other mods on this site or if something else is required for these weapons to exist. I would love if someone could point out which files would need to be edited for this to happen. Also have tried to google this to no avail.
