  1. As the title says, I'd hope somebody tries to recreate Emmy Rossum as a looksmenu preset... =)
  2. I think I have the same "problem". I moved the Fallout folder to another drive to save space on the other, and NMM is still on the other drive. When I install a mod, i installs the esp, but almost nothing else. So to solve this, I install the mod with NMM, but after that I drop the whole archive again in the data folder. Probably a better way to solve that would be to reinstall everything new and on the same harddrive.
  3. Hi there I plan to upload my new armor mashup soon. I wanted to make it compatible with Armorsmith Extended and Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR), but really have no idea how to do that. Looking at the tutorial left me a bit overwhelmed, since I am a total noob at this... Anybody here who is experienced in that kind of stuff? I assume an experienced user would do that in no-time =) As a thank you I can only think of sending you all the files, so you could use the mod ahead of the release...   4. Expand the NiTriShape of the part, click on BSDismemberSkinInstance. In the Block details expand Partitions, expand Partitions again (might be more than just 1). Change the Value of the Body Part to 32 on all partitions. To do that just double click on the value (probably says SBP_37_FEET now) and write 32 and hit enter. Now it says SBP_32_BODY and should show up fine. If it already says SBP_32_BODY I have no idea what's wrong^^ hope it works. pic:
  5. Hi there I made myself a new armor mashup and created an esp file for it. Everything seems to work fine (crafting, upgrading etc), but when I go into first person wearing that armor, nothing is showing up. Hands disappear and I see nothing instead. Changing partitions in BSDismemberSkinInstance doesn't help. I also tried a vanilla 1st person nif instead of my custom gauntlets and It didn't show up. Also when I use my custom 1st person gauntlets as a vanilla 1st person nif it works fine. All this points to the fact that the nif is fine, but something is wrong in my esp. Unfortunately I have no idea what... If anyone could take a quick look at my esp, I'd really appreciate it.   6. Hi there The good news is I finally was able to recover an old mod of mine: an underground city. I integrated the city in my current dungeon and everything seems to work fine. Except for the lighting...   7. Hi there I am creating a dungeon in the CK and get some weird problems. It seems like some stuff is not showing up in the game, but it should, and other stuff appears out of nowhere. The stuff is possibly just showing up in the wrong place...since it is the same stuff who is missing and showing up in another place. To understand it better, I'll show you some screenshots: This is how the curve looks in the CK: This is how it looks in the game (notice a whole section is missing): And now on the other side of the dungeon: While it should look like this (I deleted the wrong stuff with the console): This is how it actually looks like. There is a wall in the middle of the dungeon, and also walls on the ground which shouldn't be there.: From the opposite direction: How it should look like How it actually looks like: This section in the CK: BTW I did remove the big thing at the end behind the door and the issue was still there, so that is not the problem.   9. hi there I'm working on a fun mod; a dungeon with 100 levels filled with monsters. They start weak and get stronger every level. Every now and then there's a boss to defeat. I am currently on the 40. level and would appreciate if a few volunteers could test the mod so far. I mainly would want to know if the enemies are too weak/too strong. For a good sample it would be great if it gets tested with different combat types and different installed mods. Thats why I'm asking in a public forum. I imagine it will be much more difficult as a swordsman to beat this dungeon (my character is an archer). It would probably take you 1-1,5h to reach level 40. So if you would want to test this mod you would get: early access to my mod 1-1,5h of fun What I would want from you: A description about your character (lvl,perks, damage and armor stats) and a list of your mods that affect the strength of your character (if there are any). At the end, notes about my mod (difficulty overall and enemies in particular; lighting; other issues) Important note: The dungeon requires Skyrim Monster mod (v4, 834,324kb size) (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35631/) So if you would like to have some fun and are willing to install the skyrim monster mod and in return give me some notes, then please reply or write me a PM.   10. Hi there So for a dungeon mod I'm working on I want to add some custom sounds. It is kinda a fun mod and I'd like to have the following music to play when you're facing the final boss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VAamPxlMG0 Now I managed to find a way to place a sound in my dungeon. However when I enter the cell with my sound the game crashes. If I replace that file with a random vanilla sound, it works fine.   11. yeah thanks for your efforts. I'll probably give it a try somewhere else, since someone might recognise these problem reports and knows how to fix it. Since one says something with racecompatibility maybe the problem is with the custom race I included in the mod, but then removed. Who knows, maybe santa will bring a solution :D
  12. same s#*! problem reports as always... :( but with your esp is something wrong anyways. my mod was 887kb and your esp is 1kb :) I start to think that this might be the problem: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23828/ My city has buildings, built with parts from this set. maybe that's why your esp is so small because in fact it contains nothing, because you don't have this set?! And this is the only mod I know I updated. But it should still work, shouldn't it?! Yesterday I built a few buildings in the CK with that set without any problems. I'm gonna try and contact this modder, maybe he has some clever thoughts on this one.
  13. Whatever I do, I still get the exact same problem reports and it crashes again and again :sad: I can use the CK when I edit other mods, so the problem has to be with the file or related to it. If someone could open it and save it as a new mod and send it back to me, maybe that could work. Apart from that , I have no clue what to do...

How can I see if the ini file is up to date with the esms? :smile: And if that indeed is the problem could it be solved if you would send me your ini file and I'll give it a try again?! the problems are the following: I clicked on "Abbrechen" (Cancel), then this pops up: I clicked on "Abbrechen" (I read somewhere that this is the "yes to all" button) then this pops up: If I click ignore or repeat, the CK crashes. If i click "Abbrechen" (Cancel) again, this pops up: No matter what I click on this screen, the CK instantly crashes...
  16. hi there A while ago I started my own mod, a big underground city. I abandoned the project due to the lack of time and motivation. Now i want to continue, but everytime I start up the mod in the CK, a lot of problem reports pop up and the CK crashes. When I activate the mod and try it ingame, everything works perfectly. Does anybody have an idea why this is happening? I attached the esp, maybe some smart person is kind enough to take a quick look at it. masters are skyrim.esm, update.esm, racecompatipility.esm and apachiihair.esm.   17. Hi guys! I'm looking for someone who would help me with a "situation" in my mod. I recently began to work on a new funmod. you open a gate, fall deep into a dungeon with 100 floors. the goal of course is to reach the surface. there will be lots of enemies, and probably a lot of puzzles to solve as well. what i need are signs, which I can put on a wall or wherever, indicating which floor the player currently is on. So i would need about 100 different signs, labelled "floor 1" (or "level 1") to "floor 100" ("level 100" respectively). These signs wouldn't need to look good in any way. in fact just a plain simple square with the writing on it would totally suffice. The thing is, I made my first experiences with the CK and released my first mods, but I have no idea how to import such a simple idea into skyrim. I assume that (apart from probably a lot of copy&paste) it would be an easy job for someone who's experienced. I hope somebody is kind enough to help me out with this :thumbsup:
  18. So for my first small village Mod I tried to create a hireling according to some tutorial. As i want to see my result ingame I got a pretty weird problem (to avoid most problems I tried it ou as a new lvl 1 character): when I have not enough money (500) to hire him, it opens up the dialogue (like "hey yeah you can buy me so I can kill these chicken for you...if you got the coins silly") and i think i would not have had any problems hire him (except I dont have enough money lol). Now I add some money to my character (by console and legally sell stuff) so I have over 500 gold and be able to hire him. Now the dialogue to hire him disappears... just a line (saying like "maybe another time") what I think is the refusal when I don't wanna hire him is there (along with a few other mostly follower-related stuff). After that I remove the gold and the dialogue appears again... So in short: Hireling for 500$ -> If my char has less than 500$ dialogue appears -> more than 500$ dialogue is missing. any thoughts on that one?! :thumbsup:
  19. Hi guys So I finally started using the CK for real...kind of. :whistling: My first mod is just a little town in the middle of nowhere to get used to the CK. Now in my inn a weird thing is happening with the light: As I walk in the light seems to show up fine. when i walk a few steps and turn left, it seems like someone turns the lights off and its getting dark (not in the whole room; the light at the other end seems to work fine). I walk a few steps closer to the bar, the looking to the right and i turns back on. Pic1 Pic2 A better illustration: Im standing at the same spot, but i just turn to the right a little bit and the lights go off: Pic1 Pic2 Any idea whats the problem and how to fix that?
  20. cheers I have the faith outfit from the game Mirror's Edge in Fallout 3 and i was hoping to get it in NV as well.   21. hi I wanted to have Camilla from Riverwood as a follower. So I used console (addfac 5C84D 0) and quite everything works fine. Dialogues as with any normal follower and I can equip her with any item. But somehow she can't be killed by the enemies. She is NOT essential and i checked it several times. They attack her, but as her health is at 0 she just knees as other essential npc's do. Now the weird part: I can kill her with bows or whatever. (But console command "kill" doesn't work either) Any ideas on how I might get her from an immortal goddess to a little more realistic warrior? :) cheers
