  1. Thanks, that's helpful. What I was looking for actually was technique and hints, where to grip, how to increase resolution (of my aiming, not the gamepad). I know I will level up a bit myself over time, but needed a 'cheat sheet', if you will. I will also start looking for a M/K solution, though it's even less comfortable on a couch. After a few hours yesterday with a wireless M/K, I figured it's not much of a solution. Maybe have to stay with hack and slash till I'm a little better at the finer movements. I use a one of these: http://www.dragonwar.jp/support-detail.php?id=6&rid=18 but it gets installed as a Xbox360 controller. Would a better controller be of any help/use? Are there major differences between controllers (not in layout but in feel, control or any other usability benefits)?
  2. Hello I've been playing all games with a keyboard and mouse, and recently have added a couch potato game machine. And after a few hours with a controller, am unable to work out how to aim properly. I like using enemies for archery practice (long-range sniping, aiming above the head). Unfortunately I am unable to aim precisely at or above the target, more than 90% of the time. There simply isn't the resolution available with the controller. Using M/K on the same screen works great, but then I've to sit as close as the wires will allow. This is a 49" screen, so sitting close isn't an option. For those who use a controller and are successful archers, please help me understand. The other thing I can't work out is how to move quickly in combat. I'm used to moving and attacking at the same time and using pretty much all my fingers. With the controller, I have only four free fingers to begin with, the rest of my hand is gripping the dam thing. Is there an easy and ergonomic way to do this, or am I doomed to not being able to play the game in 'serious' mode? Thanks for any and all help you can provide!
  3. In response to post #43663380. #43664890, #43666090, #43666755 are all replies on the same post. This is the fourth day since SSE was released. There are 495 mods already as of this writing. That's an average of 123 mods/day, or more than 5 mods every hour. One every twenty minutes. I wonder what this community could achieve if they were doing this full-time. It simply boggles the mind. I haven't got SSE as yet, not until SKSE launches, but tip my hat to the guys and gals in this community. They're simply amazing.
