The download link probably doesn't work because you're clicking the green download button. If you are doing that, stop it. Go to the files tab and click on the file to download it.

When you enter a specific mod page, there is a big green butto that says "download". Many first-timers who come here mistakenly believe that the download will start right off as soon as you press this, but the green download buttone merely updates the information below (if you have a small screen you might need to scroll down), showing you the available downloads for that particular download.

 

AFTER that you click one of these links, which will take you to a short advertisement, before letting you choose a server to download from. After that the download starts.

and can someone post the best mods they've played ?

 

I'm interested in ambient mods, new monsters, races, armors and weapons and dungeons or tows/castles ?
