  1. I havn't played skyrim for a while but when started it up last night i noticed terrible fps, however i figured out that it was because skyrim was ignoring my grahpic card in options on start up, i can't get it to recognize it. and i noticed that in the skyrimpref file it already has it listed, i may have to end up reinstalling but does anyone know another way to force skyrim to recognize a graphic card?
  2. 51 views and no one wants to pitch their opinion? not even a comment? did someone suggest this before?
  3. Essentially, a mod that enhances the shouts ingame so that the player "can" fight using only his voice, for an intense and immersive experience as the power of the Thu'um echoes through caves, dungeons or open fields. But no body wants to be overpowered so there must be many guidelines to something like this, and if it is possible or not, i have many ideas on how this can be made. First idea is quick and gets it out of the way, change the cooldown for shouts so they: 1. Each have their own cooldown 2. Certain shouts will have their cooldowns reduced, for example, unrelenting forces 3rd stage shout only will be reduced down to 20 seconds but the other two will remain the same. The more extensive idea would be to creat a class so the player could play as a graybeard. This would come with some pentalties so certain aspects like maybe attacking with any weapon will now use stamina even if its not a power attack (i dont know if the game lowers your damage on empty fatigue but that'd also help with this idea), wearing heavy armor will keep you from running and something for light armor, i dont know. Unlike the above idea which would just be applied to the character right away (i imagine) this one, if it can be done, would be introduced in the game in some form, maybe have a replicate of each race but with graybeard attributes to their stats. I havn't gotten too far in the game so i'm mostly imagining this working for quick shouts like fire breath, frost breath, U force, and so on you get the idea. Just some ideas i'll throw out on shout cooldowns: Unrelenting Force 1. 5 seconds 2. 5 seconds I noticed them doing essentially the same thing when i got them. 3. 15 seconds Fire Breath + Frost Breath (Shouts like these should probably share a cooldown to keep players from just stacking up damage, and to keep from causing unexpected rapid temperature damage to their throat XD) I only have the first shout for these two so idk, what do you guys think? 15 seconds? combine that with unrelenting force knockbacks. (i had to do something while writing this so i'll just post this for now)
  4. You don't have to enter a credit card number to make a steam account, your full of assumptions.
  5. Could you imagine your character crafting chainmail? Making all those nods connect together,
  6. I can't imagine seasons or darker nights, Skyrim has quite an open sky, and the moonlight looks very nice in the fields surrounding whiterun, if a modder could apply darker nights to only certain locations, or perhaps just darken the shadows from clouds that would be fine. I also can't imagine seasons as it was advertized that the landscape for skyrim is set up so that each area is at certain elevations giving them their own climates. But nonetheless i'd still try the mod to see how it changes the game.
  7. This was an oversight, it's very hard to find out what you have equipted, more so for jewelry or amulets more so than armor, especially with the way encumberance is handled in Skyrim, giving players a base of 300, ones inventory size can grow quite large.
  8. And it's not just those basic elements of this idea that are great, rather than making a mod that has auto werewolf on/off toggle, you can work for your gift, Along with the great story presented by OP.
  9. Re equipt your armor constantly? how often are you transforming XD but ya i like the mod idea, i was hoping it to be like how farak transformed, i dont even know how to use werewolf so i dont want a time limit to screw up figuring out how to eat and stuff.
  10. A mod that allowed the skyrim world map to zoom in much closer.
  11. Hello Ghost, here we are midnight suffering the same problem, at first i was simply relieved to see others were suffering a smilar problem as i. Well, i'll sum up my problem and it might help you I was unable to permanently change the options for the game, any time i undid windowed mode or changed resolutions, after i clicked okay and opened the options window again, it'd just revert to before. The solution, i had copied the steam folder from my older laptop that i installed everything on, to the new one i ordered, and i forgot to transfer the preferences info from Mydocuments/My Games/Skyrim Without that folder it keeps the game from saving long term changes i imagine. I noticed the difference between the two laptops when i had the launcher open, the "Data Files" option was not highlighted. Is this any help? any relation to my problem? did you move something or of the like? I literally just fixed this all a minute ago.
