I kept reading these forums and the official ones as well and I was kind of worried but the general rule is that more people with problems post than those who don't have any I took the risk bought the game and so far no problems on my pc and I am enjoying it 8.5/10 for me

At level 16 I had my first random dragon encounter which happened to be in river wood the reason mine was so late is because I had completely ignored the main quest until I realised you need to do the first part to start seeing them.

What's your graphics card?

Spell making is one of my most enjoyable pastimes in morrowind and obilivion I am annoyed that they have removed it.

Hd5850 is definitely good enough, the CPU is fast and should be really good for single thread applications although quad core is part of the rec for skyrim it doesn't actually makes use of all cores.

It would run skyrim but you should go for one with a better graphics card
