  1. @Lachdonin The games are all that matter, the background is simply that the background which I should point out contradicts itself heavily (just look at daggerfall and arena) making itself almost completely unreliable.
  2. @sajuukkhar9000 I played the SI main quest and at the end you know what? Nothing changed, my character was not changed into Sheogorath, people still complained about me trespassing, the Greenmote Silo was still off-limits, zealots still attacked me as did guards. Just like in every other guild quest in Oblivion becoming Sheogorath is a title nothing more. @luzburg Sheogorath saying he was there for the events of Oblivion hardly proves he was the CoC just that he was there or he could just be lying. Also he says it's a title "passed down from me to me" which could mean that the CoC was Sheogorath from the start or that the events of SI never happened and he is still cursed.
  3. The CoC did not Mantle or become Sheogorath. Sheogorath died/went sane and the CoC took his regalia, got a grater power and a lesser power that's all. Play the Shivering Isles main quest if you don't believe me.
  4. So far, Unrelenting Force is my favorite simply because it's the only complete shout I have without an hour long cool down. Maybe I should start getting the rest of the shouts and actually kill some dragons.
  5. I think bkwrm95 nailed this one perfectly.
  6. Who is strongest? easy, The Champion of Cyrodiil. Because the CoC is a nothing special mortal that rows to the challenge and saved the world with nothing more then his/her own strength. On the other hand the Dragonborn completely relies on the power of the voice aka the power of the gods, and the Nerevarine relies on the godly powers of his past self and that's hardly sporting. So in terms of true strength the CoC is the clear winner. Of coarse in a fight the Dragonborn wins hands down because all she needs to do is "Fuz Ro Rah" and CoC and Nerevarine go flying off the cliff to there pitiful deaths.
  7. True you can use this exploit but. You first need an item with fortify alchemy so you can get the enchantment, then you need the soul gems and items to enchant, then you need to find what alchemy ingredients make fortify alchemy potions and get enough of them. So, it's not really all that great of an exploit considering all the work needed.
  8. So far Serana is one of, if not my favorite NPCs in Skyrim. Not only is she the only NPC in Skyrim with an actual back story, but she has a personalty that's not simple McSimple "Skyrim belongs to the Nords" like certain other NPCs. So yes for me she is definitely welcome.
  9. No. I had my fill of the Blades back in Oblivion (Did there dirty work, saved the world, got a set of there armor and that was it) so there's no resin for me to help those losers a second time. Whats more, what right do two outlaw Talos worshipers. That would be arrested and executed if the law ever found out who they really were have to judge the one that originally helped humanity brake free from Alduin's tyranny? Also even tho Parthuurnax said not to trust a dragon I have yet to have a dragon back stab me, where as I have lost track of all the people that have back stabbed me.
  10. $30... and I want and got it when it was $60 on steam Q.Q
  11. Underwater Fighting, more environments then snow, more then one type of undead, longer quests, the realm of Oblivion, alchemy on the go, goblins and the ability to use food items for alchemy because as it is now food items are useless because even cocked they give tiny HP recovery :psyduck: . PS. Also stats other then HP MP SP.
  12. I have had a CTD one time and I believe it was because of a mod, I almost never play on online mod.
  13. @daventry why remove all the Cliffracers? the players like me that started with Oblivion rather then Morrowind never got to kill or even see one, we want to kill one too.
  14. Good to see that the resins for bans will now be public, as I never liked the idea that someone could be baned with no real explanation (it's just to easy for someone to abuse a system like that).
  15. Dynasty heroes online let you decorate your house as did a host of other games. So if you gave every player his own player home mini map and let him use a CK to edit it I think this could kind of work. PS. The Elder Scrolls online dose not have 8 times more content then Skyrim as that would not only take 12 years to make (Skyrim took 4 years) but the game would be 12 gigs and I highly drought anyone would be able to download that much. I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time.
  16. Staying at lvl 1 lol anyone that played Oblivion should know what thats like. I would have stayed at lvl 1 but Skayrim's lvling is way better then Oblivions so there was no need. One question tho how dose one become bored with Skyrim even with all it's mods :psyduck: ?
  17. PC has to wight 30 days just like the last 2 DLCs *sigh* I just hope it has all the things that where in the trailer and it's main quest is longer then the Vanilla one.
  18. @ncordero Um... this topic is not for mod requests, I think you should ask about that in This category.
  19. @Allannaa 1) There is no INI tweak I know of that dose that. 2) I don't think Bethesda really cares about moders anymore, if they did Skyrim would have made for the PC and ported to the XBox, not the other way around. 3) All future games that will ever be made by Bethesda or any large game company will need Steam simple as that. Steam is the future of gaming and there is nothing you or anyone can do to stop it. Because idiots think that it somehow magically stops pirates and makes them buy the game. *sigh* Not to sound like an A but thats the way things are, I would love to be proven wrong tho.
  20. Don't think 1.8 is the problem, I'm using 1.7 and have the problem.
  21. I have the same problem with Lyda she drowse her sword and shield then stands there like an idiot and will not move at all. She only attacks when something is right up against her, if she has a bow she will use it to attack but she only ever seems to hit me. Other followers will actually fight and she used to actually fight so I'll try making a new character and see if that fixes it.
  22. Well there are to many tastes in mods and to many mods for anyone to make a "must have list" but this are some of the ones I love and would recommended. Build Your Own Home Is WAY better then harthfire. SkyUI Makes the UI more PC friendly. Immersive Armors doubles the number of armors in game (I believe) whats more you will never know the armors are mod added. JaySuS Swords The same as Immersive Armors only it's for swords. A Quality World Map - With Roads needs High Quality 3D Map like the name says it adds a better map witch helps a lot when you're trying to find your way. ApachiiSkyHair Adds way more hair. Some hairs may not be lore friendly but still a grate mod. Run For Your Lives Makes all those town people run from dragons helps prevent dragons from wiping out all the NPCs. Skyrim Monster Mod The same as Immersive Armors only it's for monsters. Also look in it's recommended mods section. and Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes bugs and thats always good right? PS. You might want to look into Wrye Bash (1) It makes it safe to try out new mods because it will restore everything to the way it was when you uninstall a mod (2) It makes more mods compatible with each other by importing information from different mods into a "bashed patch" (3) It allows you to exceed the 255 mod threshold by automatically merging mods for you And Boss (boss sorts your mods load order so certain mods don't make the game crash).
  23. @AnkhAscendant BLASPHEMY! with Sheogorath and some chess all things are possible even if it's not or is it snot? Ho and about Forsworn armor is that Legendary, enchanted or just normal? Because Legendary is way better then normal.
  24. I use Wrye Bash. Dose everything I need and I already need it for it's bash patch feature.
  25. Well if you want to stay close to Bethesda's lore. Try this. The first one: Among other things what is Dibella the goddess of? Second one: With magic/Sheogorath some strings and shells can make armor stronger then any mere mortal armor. So you could just find the skimpyist armor in the vanilla game and compare it to th armor in question to determine if a armor is un-lore friendly. last one: If Sheogorath is not involved it's probably not lore friendly, witch actually could be used as a answer for all 3. But thats only me... or is it?
