I am having the same problem, no plugins, but with all my mods, even those with .esps !! would really appreciate some help!!

Silly question: clean your disk and registry, How, where and with what? Thanks for the quick response!

They both seem to become more buggy by the day and I'd like to just start over from scratch, is this in any way possible short of formatting the hard drive?

OH JOY - Beth is back!! Steam Forced another bug infested mess on us. All new CDT's, Mostly on "fast travel" - Floating Weapons, After all of the NEW Kill Flicks - Broken Quests! - Just started a new dude and tried Blood on the Ice... Oh well Da** it all!! Wish I knew how the auto load got turned back on. What next a blank screen?? WOW, will it be a black or a white screen? Leave the Modders alone. They keep fixing the game and Beth keeps hosing it back up!! :verymad: :wallbash: EDIT: as soon as I found the "Mess" I turned ALL the mods off and tried "Vanilla" - No Change.

@xlcr Hey I thank you for the response. I knew "beth" had a "save bloat" problem with the PS3 but I hadn't heard it also affected the PC. I'll give your suggestions a try!! Again, Thanks!

I've played over 640 hours in this game since 1-1-11. I''ve played Ultra settings from the git go. I've made NO game changes for the last 250 hours and the game played great. All of a sudden for the last week I've experienced at least 5 CTD's a day, and I repeat the exact scenario with everything being good and no CTD. Anyone have an Idea whats changed?? BTW I'm Also suddenly re experiencing the ol' floating mouse accompanied with FPS dropping down to below 6. This happens in an area that was just fine 30 seconds ago and where everything will be back to normal within a minute.

Tried the latest Bethesda whatever - 1st time Instant CTD 2nd try The screen went black, the music played, then CTD no 3rd - packed it in. May try it again in a month or so...

After using the CK they sent out to us, I now understand why the game itself is so buggy. It's supposed to be the same one they used to do the original game. The Programmers were on a really tight schedule and so just shipped out anything they got to work even a little bit. About every 2 to 3 hours of work the whole thing just quits responding and you lose everything you've been working on whether you've saved or not. I'm betting if they ever allow thier techs to fix the CK properly, the modding comunity will fix the game for them.

Since the NEW UPGRADE went live I've experienced 12 CTD's. I'm on a PC. Hadn't had one for well over a month. Are "We" fixing it again? Thanks
