  1. I have encountered a problem with my Skyrim game that kills much of the immersion for me. My arrows won't hit their targets until I am very close to them, almost at melee range. Having my main character as an assassin/sniper, it's understandable why I'd find this a big problem. Before any of you suggest it, I should say that I have tried adding this to my Skyrim.ini, and it has not worked. Also, if what I've read so far on the Internet is true, I have checked the original max range the arrows fly, and have made sure I was within that range, yet my arrows didn't land again. However, as soon as I shoot an arrow and type in the console the TFC command, then follow the arrow to the target, it always hits. I shoot from the same distance, same draw, without the command, and the arrow passes through. Disabled the mods just in case any of them was the source of the problem, but that didn't seem to solve it either. Please guys, if anyone has even the slightest idea about what could fix this, I will be really grateful. I honestly don't know what could be preventing the game from recognizing the tweaks I added in Skyrim.ini.
  2. Self-bump, I'd really appreciate an advice about that. I hope I'm not the only one with this curious problem.
  3. Hey guys, I'm writing in hopes to find a solution to a problem I found quite a while ago with my Nexus Mod Manager. When I updated my NMM a couple of weeks ago, all my mods from the Mods tab disappeared. They are still active, and some are still present in the Plugins tab, but I can't see them in the Mods tab. I haven't done anything that could have led to that problem, so I'm somewhat confused right here. Should I try to reinstall the mod manager?
  4. I'm totally lost at this Wrye Smash thingie. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to use it? P.S Nevermind, obviously the problem was the Footprints mod. Thanks anyways.
  5. I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, so if it's misplaced, I'm sorry. I have troubles loading my saves from two days ago and I suspect it's because I deleted two or three mods today. So far I haven't had any problems like that, as I constantly delete/disable mods and I manage to load my saves without any effort. The problem is that I neither remember which mods exactly did I delete nor I have previous saves. The save with my orc which I loaded today doesn't make problems loading, but the two others from 3/1/2013 crash to desktop when I try loading them. Is there any way to fix this, or maybe to find which mods I deleted so I can maybe add them again?
  6. Hello everyone, I think this might be the right place to ask, but if it isn't, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. My problem is that I think the mods I have installed are making Skyrim a bit too buggy. The game crashes completely out of the blue and random freezes make me close the game forcefully from the task manager. I suppose this might be because I have many mods installed, but it might be a completely different problem. Is it possible that some mods have bugged the game? If anyone knows, any suggestions are welcome. Thank you for your time.
  7. ryokanfan, thank you very much for posting these mods, I'm currently installing Alternate Start and Realistic Ragdolls. As of the Immersive armors mod, I found it quite hilarious that it said "Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. The mod was not installed". So yea, I think I might have gotten a bit over my head with this mod thingie. Anyone have any suggestions, or is it, as I think it is, unable to be changed? Maybe the mod itself is too big?
  8. What about ENB mods? I've stumbled upon some and I've been thinking about getting one, but I'm not quite sure how it goes. Are they installed like regular mods and are there any good ones you would recommend?
  9. I gotta ask though, I suppose too many mods will make the game run slower?
  10. Not really, but this is my first time playing it with a bunch of mods.
  11. WOW! I am really grateful guys, I didn't even think you'd take your time and show me so much mods. Thank you so very very much. @Gremxula, thanks for the 'File of the Month' suggestion, I found some really good mods. Thank you guys again, you were unbelievably helpful.
  12. Hello everyone, as you might have known from the title, I want to ask you which mods do you personally think are the best /which will boost and upgrade my general Skyrim experience/. I have a couple mods installed ,but I was curious if there were some really good ones which escaped my sight. P.S I don't really know if that's relevant, but I am constantly watching the Skyrim G.E.M.S site so I can find good mods.
