Interesting: 1cm on 27" screen = ~ 1.4%, while mine is 3/8" on 65" =~ 0.57% and at HD, 1,4cm =~ 2% (almost 4X as big as mine) That would actually be (barely) acceptable I didn't actually measure at 1920 x 1080, just 'eyeballed' it - I'll have to measure it to check exactly I'm going to try Medium and Small mouse settings just out of curiosity btw, my measurement is just the arrow head portion, although the 'shaft' portion is very short anyway
  2. yeah, cursor set to 'large' in Options, what a joke! btw, I switched down to 1920 x 1080 to see if that helped - NO, cursor same size. What is wrong with Bioware??
  3. Playing at 4K resolution, and the mouse icon is much too small (arrow head is 3/8" long on a 65" screen!!!!) Is it possible to enlarge the mouse icon?? Like 10x would be good
  4. I installed game using GOG Galaxy, and NMM isn't able to start the game. I looked in W3 main directory, and I do NOT see an application file for W3, just a script that I guess Galaxy uses to start the game. I really rather have the mods than the Achievements from Galaxy ( although I suspect most of the mods I want are not updated to work with 1.3 patch) so is there any way to get game to start thru NMM? Or, does just putting the mod files in .........Wild Hunt/Mods work? Start with Galaxy
  5. same problem, win 8.1 if it matters used NMM to uninstall all mods, started game, played a minute or 2, saved, quit. used NMM to install all mods, started game, no mods in effect ???????

  8. I'd love a mod that would replace ALL zombies (excuse me, Feral ghouls) with base Rad roaches, and each rad roach drops 10 to 50 pieces of RANDOM ammo (that is, anything except Fusion Cores, nOT level based ammo). No legendary rad roaches either please
  9. well, updated to version 3.4, has the "MOD" option in the Launch screen, but some mods still dont work. Seems to be mods that affect the base script file. Bummed out, I really wanted 2 talents per level
  10. Witcher 2 boxing just takes fast reaction to the correct keys, it is MUCH easier than arm wrestling. I admit, neither one is much fun at all. I think Witcher 1 was even worse: at least at low levels, fistfights take FOREVER even for novice opponents. I'm hoping it gets better as my strength goes up and I add boxing skills.
  11. Definitely not version 3.41 (modders version) - game does keep asking me if I want to download a Chinese patch - I'll have to check version to see if I have at least ver 3.3. I installed about a year ago from Amazon, so I would have expected it to be patched to newest version *3.3( Thanks for the link, I'll try that 3.4 version Are they really still working on patches? If so, I'm impressed - most companies just plain quit after the first 2 or 3 years
  12. I added an "ABILITIES" sub folder to my cookedpc folder for a god-mode mod and it worked fine (non-steam version)
  13. I used a god-mode mod to beat it, then unloaded the mod. I have a non-steam version, just had to add the mod file to a folder (...cookedpc/abilities) I had to create underneath the cookedpc folder after killing the sob, deleted the mod file The Kayran was a screw-up on the devs parts - WAY TOO TOUGH for that early in the game!
  14. I have digital version purchased from Amazon, and many mods do not work with it. It does have a cookedpc folder, and some mods do work : weight mod for crafting materials, even a god-mode mode for fighting the Kayran. But the mods that modify the base script file do NOT work. I could download the GOG backup version if it would help (I suspect not), but I would like ot get the "EXTRA TALENTS per LEVEL" mod to work Any suggestions appreciated
  15. there moust be a better way - re-downloading Skyrim and all DLC takes much too long - what is it 20 to 25 GB?
  16. I was really interested in reverse engineering a mod on ammo crafting to expand it to more ammo types - is it possible to edit an existing mod file on the "offline" system?
  17. btw, this mod I found does do a bit of 10X breakdown, but is just too limited in how many recipies are left out.   18. I want to learn to use the GECK, but I have FONV installed on my desktop, which is hooked up to my big screen - it is NOT conducive to text edtiing/reading. So, I'd like to install the GECK on my laptop to play around with. Is this possible? I know I get an error message about a file lisvor*****, so If I copy that file over?? thanks Mike K

I suspect I'm gonna have to replay Raven Rock, telling all the companions to "go home" before I'm captured There's containers by Gary for their loot - I think there's a dialog for the case where you can't locate the follower. That's good to know - cause "Gary" says their equipment will be lost but anyway, they finally showed up - I had to talk to "Malcom" in Megaton, and then they all showed up!

  21. No - I checked there first, even waited 2 x 24 hours. And that was after checking at Rivet City, Paradise Falls, and Megaton (and camp) first thing
  22. where did they all go ?? Not at Megaton, Clover not at Paradise Falls. The creator of the Phalanx mod says "they don't immediately head ...(for home) they behave sensibly" So, what does that mean? Where can I find them?
