  1. I am trying to get Realistic Wasteland Lighting to work, but no matter what I try, I still have the vanilla lighting. I have installed this mod about 10 times now, with the same effect (both from the download with manager and manually). After doing some investigating, I noticed that the mod is installed, but it is nowhere in my load order. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

  2. Ok, so new problem. I tried to delete Nevada Skies in the files. Nexus loaded up and said "you deleted the files without deactivating the mod. We will now automatically uninstall the unexisting files". And now it proceeds to crash after that every single time while trying to uninstalll....

  3. So after my fallout nv game crashed on startup, I used FNVEdit to see what the problem was. I was surprised to find it encounter the error trying to load Fallout 3.esm...That certainly would cause a crash, but I have no idea why its trying to load that. I thought it might have something to do with the mod that came before that (Nevada Skies), but then Nexus Mod Manager crashed every time I tried to uninstall that.

If you guys have any idea as to what is going on, It'll be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: It appears Nexus Mod Manager crashes whenever I try to uninstall ANY mod now....

EDIT 2: It only crashes when I uninstall certain mods. Nevada Skies being the main culprit...

  4. I'm thinking it might be the savegame. I've tried almost every mod that could affect it, but no use. I'm starting a new game anyway, so that's not a problem. I'll get back if it still happens in the new game.

  5. Thanks. I solved part of the problem. Apparently an update to Caesar's New Regime was still in the load order. I promptly de-activated it. That seems to have gotten rid of the floating heads and hands and bring back the usual legion look. There's one small annoyance though still-a few of the legionaries don't have any clothes on (btw I'm at the raid camp by the ranger station). I'm gonna try what you said tomakis2108, and get back to you. I think I know what it is, so I'll get back to you guys.

  6. Sorry, I didn't expect to have to post the load order, I was asked to. I have been spending most of the day trying to figure it out myself, I just thought there was something I was missing here that someone here might have been able to spot. Usually I am fairly good at figuring out these problems on my own.

Anyway, after doing some testing on my own, when I re-activated Caesar's New Regime, the legion looked like...well how it does in Caesar's New Regime. Everything looked fine. When I de-activated it again, it reverted back to the floating heads and hands. Could it have something to do with Caesar's New Regime?

edit: Also, I do have OWB... it's just down on the load order for esm's, as is Dead Money. Come to think of it though, I should move them up to the top of the load order..

  7.

I do have BOSS, and FNVedit, so I will try them again. I have also been having problems with crashing so the load order might explain it.

Ok, after using the FNVedit, I it only confused me more-Awhile ago, I moved my steam folder from the program files (X86) and it seems that it can't find some of the files because of it. I'll post screenshots of my load order, I have way too many mods.

The third is from Cottonwood cove down. Anyway, it appears I uninstalled BOSS, so I'm gonna go reinstall it. EDIT: BOSS just crashes when I choose Fallout New Vegas...

  8. So for whatever reason, when I see Caesar's legion members (and only them), they are just a floating head with 2 hands and a weapon. No helmet on the head either, just a head. Also, sometimes giant red boxes with white explanation marks follow them around. It's really weird and incredibly annoying and game breaking for me. I run a ton of mods, but that had never been a problem. Thanks for any help in advance guys, appreciate it.

  9. Okay, so I had a problem loading F:NV (crashed as soon as I launched the game). I figured it was a load order problem. So I used FNVEdit and the file it said failed to load was DeadMoney.esm. That was odd, because I don't own Dead Money...Here's an image:

Do you guys know what I can do to rectify the situation? Thanks in advance.

  10. I can not get Fallout 3 to run either. I just bought the game on the Steam Autumn Sale (Game of The Year Edition). At first it would only start when I was not running the DLC's but now it will not run at all. I know for positive my game can run this because I can play Fallout New Vegas fine, even with tons of graphical mods.
  11. So I just bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition on the Steam Autumn Sale for $15 dollars. I checked the data files on the launcher and noticed that the 5 DLC's were unchecked. So I checked them. When I tried to launch Fallout 3 it said Fallout 3 has stopped working. Then when I unchecked the DLC's, the game worked perfectly fine. I then proceeded to reinstallt he game after trying this multiple times. Now the game will not work with or without the DLC's checked int he data files. My computer is perfectly capable of handling this game as have been playing Fallout New Vegas for about 6 months and have had no trouble running that (minus the trouble I had with mods), I have no mods or anything else installed on my Fallout 3 GOTY. Help is appreciated because I really want to play this game.
  12. would help if you posted load order.......

You mean the load order of my mods?

    from top to bottom...

    electro city

    AWorldOfPain(

    Honest Hearts.esm

    Lonesome Road.esm

    FalloutNV.esm

    yadda yadda

your biggest problem is that you have things loading before falloutnv.esm

download, install and run BOSS as found on the nexus then try again

    Ok. I will try this.
