  1. Nice quality but, 1h is too long to watch :/ especially when you already played it.
  2. ...Player maturity also rated lower than expected, seriously.
  3. At first I had a bit of problems with the UI, but now that I mastered it I'm owning.
  4. Best review of the reviewers so far. The game may be more difficult to master than Oblivion because of it's sad UI but the sounds, graphics, the overall atmosphere of the game is nearly as good as Battlefield 3. Only thing I hate is how demanding it is on the graphics card. "My graphics card sits just off idle temps, and Ive yet to see it use more than 950 MB of memory on the VGA", why thank you sir for being so biased, you're probably on a gaming PC. I'm on a brand new, non-gaming PC which runs Battlefield BC2, BF3, Starcraft II and a few other games on high detail, but yet I have to be running Skyrim on medium graphics if I want good performance. High detail runs at a low 17-20 FPS for me.
  5. Here's a thread for Skyrim videos. Yours, not yours, doesn't matter. Please no playthroughs, walkthroughs and such, this is not a thread for game guides, just precise videos on gameplay / glitches / features / parodies / music videos and such. These are some of my videos so far: OP Giants: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSQx7qD_zAU Tavern Atmosphere (check out if you wanna see what the French dub sounds like): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEzd74FvXF8
  6. Ok I had fallen back a bit, but now I'm back on my feet and running my blog. PM me new blog links please, I haven't been following this. I'm also having my videos uploaded on my youtube channel. It's not vlogging nor let's plays, just video clips of precise game features. http://www.youtube.com/user/LordApocalypse7?feature=mhee
  7. You wouldn't want to play an FPS or an action RPG like Oblivion or Fallout on it, but could you imagine the Starcraft gameplay? Epic! As an owner of a touchscreen desktop, I can say that it's awesome playing SoaSE on a multi-touch screen, especially with the finger gestures at a resolution of 1920x1080. I still have to use the keyboard for some things like queuing orders, but most of it's controllable with just touching things. It also makes me feel like some sort of evil Star Wars commander looking over a holographic screen touching little Tie fighters to send them to their objective. Starcraft's the worse possible example you could've brought up. It takes 10x more Keyboard Hero III skill than any other game out there. This sounds like the iMac mouse all over again. It's small, it looks like super high tech, but in reality it just sucks in terms of efficiency.
  8. Added. I've been too busy to update my blog :( almost 1k views though. Please bump the thread on official forums a bit?
  9. Added! I have just posted about mods in TES, there's three interviews included. Lots of content. Check it out!
  10. There's like 20 blogs out now guys. We need to bump the thread on Bethesda more often. If this becomes an importat part of the community, we could have our own subforums around here, that would be awesome.
  11. What page? *snip* This one, right here: http://www.youtube.com/user/IndorilTheGreat?feature=mhum  You want that added to the blog list? Ok cool I'm also discussing that kind of stuff but starting tomorrow, will be interested to read. I finally finished my characters bio! Check it out guys, took me a couple of hours.
  12. I think the problem is coming from IE users. Gonna try other settings.
  13. What page? Ok I'll be adding that. I got some work to do but if I still have the time afterwards, I'll add a new post on my blog, sharing some views on general Skyrim stuff (mods/kids being in game/others). Also, is my blog's background working for you guys? It's pretty heavy so I'm afraid it takes a while to load for some of you.
  14. Oh so that's probably why I was failing I guess, I didn't see any captcha but it must be somewhere.
  15. Crysis 2 bioshock 2 and maybe bf3 I've never looked down at my feet in that game Yeah in BF3 you can see your legs.
  16. Yeah well I'm sure people will find it interesting anyway and I'm kinda lazy to edit it again. Maybe later. I've left some comments on a few blogs, but they didn't show up. Did you all set to moderate comments before they're posted, or am I just failing at it miserably?
  17. Second hand sales is not a solid argument for this at all. Torrents exist. This is nonsense. Besides, many people like to have the actual CD/DVD and box and other goodies for the sake of collection.
  18. Ok guys, I made a similar thread on bethesda's forum but it's getting owned badly by forum activity. There's too many people posting to let the thread get noticed. Anyone wanna help me bump the thread? Link is here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1249613-skyrim-blogs/page__p__19023071&do=findComment&comment=19023071
  19. I'm gonna have to disagree with most people, I don't really like mods. When I started Oblivion I started it with mods, and then I asked myself why do I start with mods when I don't even know if the vanilla is good enough? I restarted and it turned out that I actually prefered the vanilla version. It's hard to explain but, modded versions just feel like it's a different game for me. I want it to be pure, it's part of my personality to like things pure. What makes the game is it's quality, it's bugs, it's items, the annoying little things like stupid NPC's (adoring fan) or the very good things. It makes it unique. If you take that away, can you still say it's the same game? Let's say you have an 80's Ferrari. It's old, not everyone likes the aggressive red color, it's nowhere as powerful as modern super cars, but it's a good old Ferrari. But then you paint it blue instead of red, change the engine, the tires, suspension, everything until the only thing you have left is the overall looks. Will you still feel like you're driving a Ferrari afterwards? That's where I'm getting to. Now I don't wanna convince anyone, I know this is a mod community, and I get why people like mods. It's just like some people prefer to buy pre-made sports cars, others prefer to buy normal ones and then power them up into sports cars, if that makes any sense (money reasons set aside). But if you want different views here you have one :)
  20. Select a font that you're sure not to find anywhere else on the blog, with a memorable name. Go on the CSS editor, and use the find tool to find the name of that fond. Replace that name with whatever you want. Some fonts might not work, but most do. For example I wanted Segoe UI for my blog posts, so I changed the text font to some crazy font I didn't even knew, went to the CSS editor, found that name and replaced it with Segoe UI. That's all you need to do.
  21. Love the comparison ^^ What's so important about the wait though, you forget about it the second you have the game. There was this time when me and my guild on another game waited 6 months for some private server to open. It kept being announced month after month, but never came out. It finally opened three years later, not so long ago, when everyone had already forgotten about it. It was like there was never a waiting time for those who did join, it hasn't been discussed at all even though it was excessive.
  22. I'm 19 can I cheat and put 20's since I'm closer to that than 10's? :°
  23. You sure look forward for an easy going, immersive Skyrim experience o.o how much did all this cost? Is this new or have you always gamed like this?
