changed back to 5 and now it works. Thanks! But with SSME ugrids=7 should work? This ctd only appears on loading/fast-travelling in Whiterun

Hey Community, First and foremost: Sorry for my English; it's not my mother tongue. When the new Memory Fix was released, I started playing Skyrim again. It works quite well, but I've got a very annoying problem: When I load an exterior save or when I fast-travel to some exterior locations I CTD quite often. That happens mostly in Whiterun for some reason; never in Hjaalmarsh or Solitude. I only experienced 2-3 other exterior ctd's in the last 2 weeks, these ones happened when running somewhere in exteriors after hours of playing Skyrim. The single ctd-reason, that happens quite often is this loading of saves in exterior locations. Of course I'm using SSME and ENBoost. I use quite a lot texture mods together with ewi's high INI-files with ugrids=7 and RealVision ENB, but I don't think, that this is the problem. I think the problem is some mod conflict: Here is my load-order: SKSE-Plugins: Is anyone else experiencing this problem too? Thanks for any help!

Hey Community, First and foremost, excuse my bad English please. After some months without Skyrim I decided to play in again. My Problem: The game runs fine, without any exterior CTD or freeze. Bu sometimes after playing the game for after playing the game for a while - without stopping it - I can see some strange triangular, blue-white flickering objects in the inventory screen. If I do anything in the inventory, my game crashes. And if I go to the game menu right after quitting the inventory the game crashes too. The crashes appear in interiors most of the time, I only experienced 2 CTD's in exteriors. I was not able to take a picture, because this flickering is completely random and my game ctd's after it. What could cause this strange objects? My Specs: Win7 Home 64it Geforce GTX 770 4GB VRAM 16 GB RAM i7 2600K BOSS log: I suggest it has to do with SkyUI because its the only mod which enhances the inventory menu. I know that my modlist is quite long, but most of the mods are from STEP and http://wiki.step-project.com/Pack:Vanilla_Enhanced_Gameplay_Alternative and so they should be compatiblel. I'm using RealVision ENB and "Ewis High ini and prefs files for GTX 660 or better". Thanks for any idea or help.

But my game runs at 90 FPS (tested with disabled VSync) without an ENB and with the performance ENB I hardly get 50 FPS outdoors. And I don't have any mod installed except HDDLC Optimized which increases performance.
-
Hey Community, I reinstalled my Skyrim completely because I started using DDSopt. I DDSopted my Skyrim and HDDLC textures and my game run just fine with continuous 60+ FPS. Afterwards I installed the HDDLC Optimized Mod and changed my Game-Settings to: no AA, no AF, high shadows, rest ultra But then I installed an ENB (RealVision Performance, no DOF, no SSAO) and my FPS dropped down to 48 FPS outdoors without any INI-tweaks (except those necessary for ENB) or Texture-Mods. Is this normal? My VRASM-usage was at 1.25 GB; my RAM-usage at 1.05 GB. What can reduce the ingame FPS generally? Are there other factors that affect FPS except VRAM/RAM-usage? My Specs: Win7 Home 64Bit 16GB RAM NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti 2GB VRAM NVIDIA Inspector without any changes in TESV profile Intel i7 2600K 4x3.4GHz ASUS Monitor 1920x1080

Now I reinstalled Skyrim without STEP but with Texture Pack Combiner and now it works at a constant framerate of at least 35 FPS. (with Project ENB) But I have one last question: What would you recommend to be the best way to multisample? At the moment I use 4x ingame AA + 2x Supersampling with NVIDIA-inspector Is there a better way without much performance loss?
-
My CPU always works at ~40-55% outdoors, so it's not that much working So why should I OC my CPU then?
-
When I tried the 320.xx drivers I got an average fps of ~20 in Ustengraav.
-
Because my card did earlier.
-
Yes maybe that is the average fps with 8xAA and 16xAF and ultra shadow But I'm running that 45 fps with no AA, no AF and medium shadows as you can see in my SkyrimPrefs So I think without AA, AF and medium shadows 45fps is a bit to low
-
I use SFO Baic 1K but not Grass on Steroids + tweak "iMinGrassSize=40" With the ENB I use DrawLandShadows but not ShadowsonGrass I did msconfig some time ago and disabled most of the processes There are hardly any background processes running I setted my NVIDIA profile back before posting this problem

I reinstalled all of my landscape retextures, but this step didn't even gain me 1 frame. Any other idea? Could mods slow my fps down?
-
I'm using Performance Monitor: My average GPU-usage is ca. 1.4 GB My average RAM-usage is ca. 1.7 GB The INI's are not the problem because I resetted them already I'll now try to reinstall all of my landscape-texture mods

My issue is not ENB related. I get only 45 FPS without ENB in this area. When Project ENB is activated, then I just get 15 FPS less. The problem are these 45 FPS without ENB, because my system should handle this even with those texture packs. But in my opinion 45 FPS are too low.
-
As I mentioned, I didn't use AA, AO or DOF. And I was able to reach 40FPS earlier, with an ENB.
-
Hey Community, For some time I'm experiencing quite low FPS. Whenever I use an ENB (without DOF an SSAO) my FPS shrink down to 28 in Hjaalmarch, where I tested it, because Hjaalmarch is quite graphics intensive. I tried the Project ENB without any Hardware Antialiasing and REalvision ENB with SweetFX. For both I received the same results. I have the STEP Pack with some other mods installed; all of my texture mods are downscaled to 1K. Without any ENB I only receive about 50 FPS. That's not quite good I think; in earlier times I was able to reach more than 40 FPS outdoor with an ENB. Does anyone have some suggestions about my problem? My Specs: Win 7 Home 64bit NVIDIA GTX560TI 2GB VRAM with 314.22 driver 8 GB RAM Intel i7-2600K 4x3.4GHz My INI's: Skyrim SkyrimPrefs My BOSS log In NVIDIA Inspector I only increased thr Texture filtering - Quality to 'high quality'
-
Sorry, I forgot to mention, that I updated my NVIDIA-driver from 314.22 to 320.18 To anyone, who has FPS problems only since a few days: Don't install the 320.18 Reinstalling the 314.22 solved my problem (for whatever reason)

Hey Community, 4 days ago I stopped playing Skyrim with my char and played through Oblivion. The only things I did, was updating one armor mod(Aesir Armor) und adding the mods bounty hunting and better enemy AI. And then I deactivated my Climates of Tamriel - Winter Edition.esp and installed another SoS-Wilds Compatibility esp. Now I wanted to continue gaming in Ustengrav and experienced only to have an average of 22 FPS INSIDE A DUNGEON. (I didn't install any texture mods) After deactivating my enb I could gain 10 more FPS. But before I made that break in gaming Skyrim, I had an average of 44 FPS !! What I tried: - deactivate ENB - reset ini-files - deactivate the new mods - reinstall the old COT-Winter Edition.esp During this experience of low FPS my VRAM is at about 1.2 of 2 GB available VRAM. My RAM usage is at about 1.8 GB Any suggestions, what troubles my game? I would be grateful to any tipp.

I now reduced my mods to the following: But it didn't help really. I'm able now to reach Whiterun without any ctd near the giant, but when I get to that place, where the giant was killed, I get a CTD witz the lvlpredator script at the ejnd of the log. Any ideas??
-
Hey Community, yesterday I completely reinstalled Skyrim. Afetrwards I installed the STEP-Mods and a few of my favorites. I played through bleak falls barrow without any problem, but now I can't get into whiterun. whenever i come near the gates, my game freezes or ctd's. First I tried the direct way, but then I get crashes near the dead giant and the last entry in my script is the lvlpredator script. Then I tried it around whiterun, so I couldn't see the giant and I made it to the guards, btu then my game ctd's too, and in my script there is the lvlpredator too, but not at the end. Sometimes I haven't the lvlpredator in the script, but the game crashes too. So I think the problem is related to some mod. Please help. I use the performance monitor, and at most of the crashes the RAM usage rises from constant 3.0GB to 3.1 GB. SkyTest is NOT the problem, I tried already. I didn't uninstall any mod right now. Minutemen Mods I use:

Yes, it downloaded the Update and the three DLC's esm's I cleaned with TESV-Edit before. But it didn't wortk with these esm's, so I cleaned them again. Any other ideas?

My game normally runs fine. But when I want to enter Solitude, or leave Katlas Farm or fast-travel to Solitude, Katlas Farm or East Empire Company Warehouse my game freezes in loading screen. What I tried: Deactivate some different mods that change wildlife(SkyTEST, Real Wildlife, Frostfall, Immersive Creatures) Deinstall ENB Delete ini-Files and let Skyrim restore them I think it must be a mod conflict My mod list:

Hi renogaz I had the same issue with the actortypedwarven: In my case it was created by the deadly dragons submod deadly monsters. Deinstalling deadly monsters fixed it for me.
