  1. Hey there fellas, check out this mod, real close to deadly reflex  http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31944 Cheers
  2. Can`t believe there`s still no realistic dismemberment mod around..
  3. The animation when you swing round the axe into a bear`s mouth then it gets stuck and you pull it back out is great. It would be possible to edit this to a full round circle swing for example and use this move on enemies as well with an animation of cutting the body in half (just like it was done in Deadly Reflex). Also when you hit an opponent with a simple attack the weapon will get stucked in the flesh and leaves some cutting marks. You all have great ideas and THE KIT OUT RIGHT NOW so if we push this to the limit we`ll all have a realistic dismemberment mod soon. :)
  4. The kit is announced to be finally out on tuesday and it`ll come with a lil surprise so maybe entrance to Cyrodiil and Morrowind or even better full and realistic hit-wounds plus dismemberment? :P If not someone will.. ;)
  5. The textures for cuts and stuff are already there but I really hope the kit will be released within the next few weeks.. http://s1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/tangshandaxiong/?action=view&current=TESV2011-12-0103-34-10-92.jpg http://s1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/tangshandaxiong/?action=view&current=TESV2011-11-3023-31-51-53.jpg http://s1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/tangshandaxiong/?action=view&current=TESV2011-11-3003-30-52-81.jpg
  6. Hell yeah Kairo! One should definately be able to leave a lot of blood and guts behind after feeding. To bridge the time: Today I watched Inception again and I searched the web for some behind the scene shots of the film. I came accros this picture on imdb http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTQ1NjM3MTM2MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMzgwODA0NA@@._V1._SX640_SY443_.jpg and I wonder don`t you think Chris Nolan looks a bit like a Dark Elf? :)
  7. Little update on dev-kit: "Beginning in January, PC players will be able to download the same development tools we used at Bethesda Game Studios to create Skyrim…" Source: http://www.bethblog.com/2011/12/01/skyrim-what-were-working-on/ So no dismemberment over Christmas then.. :(
  8. I personally haven`t preffered making use of followers yet in The Elder Scrolls as one of the things which I enjoy the most is being on my own in Tamriel. The only reason I took a fellow with me in Fallout 3 fe. was the extended carrying ability or in other words to have a muli on my side ;) Come to think of it now as you came up with this cool idea of combo executions I look upon this whole teaming up type of thing in a whole new point of view :)
  9. It`s a small workaround-patch (18mb) which is available via Steam since Nov21. It was intended to be a small optimization to fix ram-limitations but ended up being more blocky than useful. Don`t exactly know what more issues it should fix as I didn`t test it by myself. If anyone downloaded the patch and experiences any issues or problems with some mods/changes the "4GB Skyrim"-Mod on here can help you out. The next patch shouldn`t have this kind of sideeffects.
  10. Yes you`re right the helmet stays on the head which I think can/will be modded, too. As you may know Bethesda recently released a patch which crippled compatibility with some mods especially enhancement of graphics. So far it seems that they try to prevent the game from being modified instead of support these concepts. As for the dev-kit let`s hope it won`t have such limitations to customization.
  11. Kairo29, sounds good I get what you mean :D in terms of the aftermaths of spells one should be able to take the files from the Dead Reflex Mod for Oblivion which already has burnt corpses and all that and retex them in high-res. This would be a step forward to the final project.
  12. To me this all should`ve been in the game from scratch. There`s no official release date for the Dev-Kit atm but will definately be released within the next few weeks.
  13. @Selvec This would simply be awesome! I really hope that it`s there already written and hiding just waiting to be activated ;) Nice to see the interest for this kind of mod is getting bigger and bigger and fandom grows! Good news is that it`ll be only just a matter of time till the dev-kit is out and from then on not much longer I think till it`s done. As the file-structure of Skyrim is very much like the one from FO3 it shouldn`t be that much of a big deal for modders of the scene so that`s cool.
  14. Ah I see no it`s not that kind of crippling then but still looks good. The decap-perk you can get for 1 or 2-handed weapons is not bad at all but imo it seems a bit odd that you`ll be able to chop off an enemies` head with a certain amount of skill but no arms/legs or what I`d prefer cut someone in half with a katana or 2-hander. Again I`m no huge fan of unnessesary gore but I enjoyed Fallout 3 and NV very much. Imo the damage systems were very unrealistic at most of the times though but basically Bethesda could`ve optimised it and used it in Skyrim. Wonder who decided otherwise as the game already contained content which resulted in an M-Rating. The key to satisfy everyone would`ve been an option to toggle the gore on/off like you could do in some early games from Activision..
