  1. I disagree. Time control with the mod in it's current state is just fine.
  2. Like any new feature, I worry about the balance issues. I'm glad this is already sorted out.
  3. I'm tempted to start a fresh topic to better explain the requirements of the project but I'm afraid of too few volunteers. I even have a draft typed up just in case. The problem first hurdle of this project is the requirement for volunteers with voice-ready equipment. With smaller mods like Interesting NPCs can understandably garner the necessary talent. Skybook, however, worries me. Anyways. I can't take over as the project because I have no experience with the Creation Kit. I would have to rely on others to format the files and I can't justify demanding that kind of work.
  4. I've stopped contributing to the project. There doesn't seem to be enough interested parties to get this thing off the ground.
  5. If you can't find your answer here, try the Bethesda forums. There's an ongoing discussion about Havoc animations.
  6. Excellent. I've been waiting for this for a long time.
  7. I'm just trying to imagine a fearful ghost. All of the ghosts in Skyrim just want to kill me. But ask yourself Mojo: blooper or another feature? Not to change the subject, but Notch, Minecraft creator, designed the Creeper by accident after making his pigs too long. Perhaps these cowards could be used for something? Soul capturing maybe? Just a thought.
  8. Are freelancing VA's like myself the exception or the exception that proves the rule? I don't believe I've ever forced my ideas on others. I just scope the forums looking for projects to contribute to and feedback.
  9. I am satisfied with that response. As long as there are detractors preventing Vampires from just sweeping with a small army.
  10. Quick questions: Those Summoned Axes, specifically the amount you summoned, were just for show right? Having that many followers would be a little OP, no? Though, I am forgetting the weaknesses applied to Vampires of that level. Also, are Thralls going to replace the spot of followers?
  11. Doesn't that teleport spell already add the bat animation?
  12. This is totally possible, if, by Pokemon you mean Skyrim, and by possibly, I mean a Wabbajack Arena alike.
  13. Like taking the breaks off a car, brilliant! Wait, I may have gotten that wrong...
  14. If you don't find your answer here, there's always the Bethesda forums. They have an entire topic dedicated to Havoc animations.
  15. That is an impressive resume. If I were a modder, I'd try to scoop you right up.
  16. Is it wrong that I giggle like a little girl whenever I watch these videos? They're just so awesome. : o
  17. Is there any chance that since we're going to become Werewolves by time we should also be warned, say, an hour or so before the transformation comes? It'd be really awkard if I'm standing in the Jarl's court and I suddenly turn hairy and things start turning hairy, you know what I mean? I just get barking mad whenever I walk out into daylight as a vampire, can't there be a way to warn you of the night? A message, a howl, how about both?
  18. I always theorized that Vampires were creatures in nature that act as either parasites or symbiotes. A symbiotic relationship representing the reluctant vampire, one that attacks only out of hunger, seeking those that are more or less willing participants rather then simple prey. This would be the type to fear their own powers and exercise them only when prudence dictated as to not become comfortable with their condition. The average joe if you will. A person that is told that Vampirism is a curse and they are cursed as well. We don't see these types very often and I think that's a shame. Oh? Not that they'd care, but the Silver Hands hunt Werewolves almost exclusively. I say almost because they also torture civilians suspected of being Werewolves. They're by far a more anti-Werewolf organization. I'd even go so far as to suspect (and I've said this before) that the Silver Hands could very well have been under the manipulation of one or more Vampires. Why? 1) Vampire Dust found on their corpses (yes, I know it's used to make Cure Disease potion.) 2) Less Werewolves means less competition for food supply (aka Man and Mer.) There was every benefit for Vampires in the Silver Hands and none of the risk because they preyed on the fears of non-Vampires and turned them against Werewolves. Again, this is just a theory.
  19. I like the video but... I'm having a hard time seeing the Garlic aura. Perhaps more opacity?
  20. The list is up to date and the books you mention have not been done yet. Good luck.
  21. I was thinking that the project could use this logo I made: http://i.imgur.com/q99bj.jpg
  22. My resume. I believe I am personally at my best when playing the role of a haughty Imperial nobility.
  23. In the Mage's College we plowed through Nordic burial sites without the slightest regard for respect of the dead. In the Companions we fought a brutal clan for the right to roam as wolves unto the night. In the Thieves Guild we did stole the life of a thief and ushered in a new era. In the Dark Brotherhood we took down an empire. What do we do in the Bard's College? Chase down instruments and lyrics. Huh... How about... Bard College: Gateway to Spy network of Skyrim In the event (however unlikely) Bethesda adds more Bard quests let's call these side-quests. I want to keep my options open so I'll give a couple of scenarios on how these begin: a ) While putting your skills as a newly trained Bard to use in a Jarl's court, you acquire a lucrative lead on a rumor and investigate. After all is said and done you learn a terrible secret and must decide whether to expose the culprit or blackmail them for treasure. b ) You acquire a secret during dialog with an associate of the court or aristocracy, perhaps a rumor you investigate like any other quest, with you learning a terrible secret and deciding whether expose them or blackmail for treasure. c ) You're approached by a Guild member during or after your initial quests for the Bard College, your new handler sends you on your first mission and you return to him for further assignments. The benefit of this is the procedural and familiar way these quests are handled. The motif of this mod is stealth for either justice or profit. To condemn people for their secrets or simply milk as much gold as possible. Features: * Sing your way into courts and bars telling stories to rowdy patrons brawling whenever you slip and win the love of son's and daughter across small towns to earn fame (or infamy for your bawdy lyrics.) * Questline takes place in Jarl Courts and on the streets of (mostly Imperial) cities. * Search the rooms of (or Pickpocket) various NPCs for incriminating evidence. * Intimidate, woo, or quest for juicy gossip and possibly terrifying secrets. * Bribe beggars into becoming lookouts, your eyes in the city. * Less emphasis on tomb-raiding, dungeon crawling, or dragon-slaying and more on investing and dialog chains. This is the best part I think: Quest Ideas: * Scour crime-scenes for clues in order to solve a murder, theft, or unspeakable acts. -- Investigate a string of murders and expose the closet Vampire or help him/her find a cure. -- Deceive the wife of an Imperial Aristocrat into drinking poisoned wine or warn her in advance to save life. -- Browse a burgled shop for clues to the Thief's hideout and either demand half of the loot or turn them in and watch their beheading. -- Become a hired spook for a wealthy merchant to spy on the competition. -- Peruse the scene of a mugging-gone-wrong to find tampered evidence and expose the corrupt watchmen behind it. -- Learn the secret shame of a respected merchant and the source of his soured honey. * Earn the trust of the Jarl's court, learn their secrets, then use it against them or sell it to the highest bidder. -- Talk with a gossipy Aristocrat reveals the crumpled wildlife found near the Town may be coming from an unlikely source. -- After being sent a letter not meant for your eyes, you have the opportunity to expose an affair between a prominent figure or guarantee his silence with daily payments. -- Exchange information with other Spies to learn of secret meetings leading to higher leveled quests. -- Find graffiti in Riften Tunnels spelling out the dates for shipment dates and sell the information to bandits. -- A Nord warrior hires you to place incriminating evidence on a local Mage who desecrated his ancestor's tomb. Plant evidence and earn coin, or putpocket him and watch the show unfold. Thieves steal, Brothers murder, Companions honor, Mages cast, and brutha, Spies spy. Infiltrate as a bard, learn to spy, and extort or exercise justice. What could possibly go wrong?
