Porting mods from Fallout 4 to Starfield
teslashark replied to mechatech's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Apparently Starfield will use Rage 2's engine, not Gamebryo. -

Would someone please remake the four people from the "Beauty and the Beast" unit? I think there are existing models of them online but don't know if the format or resolution are compatible. They can be random additions to the starting crew, volunteers, random encounters, or hostages. Any way is fine.

I bet plenty of Institute aligned players are annoyed when they found out they have no use for Viable Blood Samples and Technical Documents after they blew up the Prydwen. Here's my suggestion: Simple: 1. Make a new NPC to collect Technical Documents, maybe an Advanced Systems scientist, paying the same amount of caps or maybe less. Maybe he pays in pre-war money or other things. 2. Rinse and repeat, a Bioscience scientist collecting Viable Blood Samples. Pays less caps, rewards Purified Water and Rad-away. Advanced: 1. Mostly the same. Though, let this scientist hand out Haylen's artifact fetching quests too. Maybe reward a legendary weapon or armor after a few hand-ins. 2. Let the Bioscience guy give some Institute version of the 111-serum, since the BOS version sucks. May cause break of game and/or immersion:1. The scientist stays the same as the easiest version, but give an option to recruit Haylen after Blind Betrayal. It will be an all red conversation check using both charisma and intelligence. Alternatively, the player can use the Pickpocket and Sandman perks to put an institute transponder on Haylen in midnight. Make recruiting Haylen necessary to unlocking the advanced fetches and rewards. 2. Same as above, recruit Neriah to unlock advanced rewards. Note: The final approach can be replicated for Railroad and Minutemen endings too, especially when advanced dialogue frameworks are out.

Need help locating a leveled item spawn list
teslashark replied to teslashark's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Found it! Thanks! -
I'm looking for a list that controls Raider sack hood spawning. None of the "810** Armor RaiderHeadgear" spawnlists seem to have entries about sack hoods?

Pirate gun! Pirate gun! Pirate gun! My buddies and I have this headcanon that the COA found some blueprints of the VStG in some pre-war survivalist's book collection, or maybe it's sold cheap for home defense and hunting so the design proliferated after the war, but Bethesda's canon explanation really doesn't make sense.- 2744 replies

yeah, it's better to just ditch that model altogether along with its role (late stage heavy spraying thing) in the game. I wonder what realistic guns can still look good when used by Super Mutants? I can see the Tompson variants and maybe shotguns, although that will heavily change difficulties when fighting them. One minor suggestion: Do you think it's a good idea to give high-level Far Harbor COA Zealots some more pre-war guns other than the VStG? To show these are looted from the pre-war base alongside the submarine, the game claims that Radium Rifles are modified from old world US marine rifles but that doesn't make much sense.- 2744 replies

...Just use the existing neon signs, you can mod smaller neon signs anyway.

Combat Zone Restore The Cut Arena.
teslashark replied to AtomicFire555's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11163/? Arena fighting is definitely moddable, though there are still many holes to be filled in order to make the Combat Zone immersive while keeping Cait's plot there. -
Better ask Milenia or Wasteland Melody, these two people are very impressive modelers.
